« I checked into a house full of pleasant surprises. With its brand-new furnishings and spotlessly clean corners, coupled with just the right amount of tranquility, it instantly melted away all the weariness from my journey. The house exudes local cultural charm everywhere, allowing you to stumble upon little delights by chance. What’s more, the housekeeper is kind and lovely—a warm greeting from them adds a healing touch to this wonderful stay. I hope the address can be more clearly. »

« May was a great host. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit and she had us back inside in 30 minutes. Very clean, but a little dark inside. 3 capable Air Condirioning units kept things comfortably cool. »

« great location; beautiful view; great pool and outdoor area. it really is not a 3 bedroom, the "3rd bedroom" was more of an office with a pull out couch. Our daughter was not happy but we made the best of it. Not a lot of privacy since the second bedroom entrance you walked through the "3rd bedroom" unless you walked outside.Otherwise was great! Thoroughly enjoyed St John. »

« Host booked the wrong date at the resort and was totally unresponsive when we contacted him about the issue. Left us stranded at the airport in St Thomas. We had to pay 1900 to get a room for one night. Still have not heard from the host with an explanation or apology. »

« We had an amazing stay. The condo was beautiful and well maintained, very short walk into town to restaurants, shops and taxis to beaches. We didn’t rent a car while on the island but it wasn’t necessary based on the location. Nora and her husband were excellent hosts, available for any needs and really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing trip and enjoyed all the sites. I would highly recommend the Edgewater. We can’t wait for a return trip in the future. »

« Everything was wonderful. I really appreciated how easy it was to access and for the help that we had if we needed any. This host has someone on St John that is available to help when needed and even helped us find the place the first time and walked us through the house sharing all the ins and outs. Great location with very little noise from neighbors. We loved it! »

« We had a wonderful stay, amazing view, comfortable bed. I had to communicate with the owner which I don’t like to do but it was an unusual situation. He was very helpful and I know he had a lot to do and many people to help. Richard and all of the people at Gallows Point were very sensitive to what was going on, not everybody was. »

« We felt very comfortable during our week stay at the property. Tamika was very receptive and communicative. When we had difficulty deciding which unit was ours, Tamika was there in a flash.The unit was clean and well appointed. The views and sunsets were gorgeous. The location was convenient and quiet at night. During the day, there is more traffic- loud at times. That was the only reason for 4 stars on the location. We would definitely stay there again though. »

« Rarely do you arrive at a vacation home that is just so much better than the description and pics! This home was a terrific location for exploring St. John. It was immaculate, and was well outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds and pillows were great. Kitchen had everything we needed for making dinners at home. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars each night. We also made friends with Pete, the owner's cat, who came to visit us each day. Highly recommended! »

« “A host and space that make you want to come back again!” We were welcomed to the island of St. John like we were family. Access to Cruz Bay was easy and our rental was within walking distance of the ferry. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed.
