« Excellent site location, great staff & food, room was clean except for very dirty & sticky floor. Room on upper floor rear face had a major floor maintenance issue, I needed to clean my sleepers to remove the sticky stuff ! »

« Lovely place to stay out of town and surrounded by beautiful gardens. There is a bus about 50m away that goes to York. Great place to stay and explore the area, then come home to an excellent spa and gym. Only grizzle is that the pillows weren’t great and I think if you’re staying there you should get a spa towel without paying for it! Make sure to book any spa treatment or restaurant early as they book out. »
