What you can expect

Day 1: Angkor sunset and dragon boat ride

Starting with a pickup from your accommodation, drive through the Siem Reap countryside, crossing the river. Wind your way along red clay roads, through a variety of local villages, and across small farms.
After a brief stop for a light refreshment, bypass the crush of visitors exiting the park and instead follow the charming backroads, past stunning rice fields, and small, historic family parcels where life appears unchanged for generations.
Make your way towards the west edge of Angkor Park to explore the remarkable historic site in a different context. End the evening with a peaceful dragon boat ride on the moat of Angkor Thom, with local delicacies including soft drinks and red wine onboard.
Day 2: Angkor sunrise and temples

Begin with the best spot to view the sunrise and take perfect photos. Explore the ancient temple at its most atmospheric, bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun. Before having breakfast, you'll go into the inner sanctum of Angkor Wat to admire the carvings and architecture of the temple.

Following the main road to Angkor Thom, replete with stone sculptures depicting demons and deities, Learn about the cultural significance of the Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Royal Enclosure from your guide.
After roaming around Bayon, take a short break to enjoy a light refreshment before getting in the jeep again and continuing to the Elephant Terrace.

Go through Angkor off-roads on the way to visit Ta Prohm temple. Discover a place overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. Return to town through Cambodian villages that offer a glimpse into rural life.

Day 3: Countryside and floating village

Explore rural villages and learn about the daily lives of the local people. Get off the beaten track and gain a better understanding of Cambodian rural life, along with an insight into traditional Khmer culture, something few visitors are lucky enough to experience.

Afterwards, discover the unique way of life of those living on Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Lake, which is recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve - the largest lake in Southeast Asia.
Then, head to Kompong Pluk and, aboard your private boat, visit a floating village, built entirely on stilts in the Tonle Sap, the lake at Cambodia’s centre.
