Just too many things off
Considering the apartment was newly renovated and very clean, it could have been perfect. But just a few things were off. There were odd gaps in the (apparently new) flooring by the bathroom. There were unhung mirrors scattered around. The kitchen was oddly missing a colander. The check-in by a surly woman in the office was not impressive. (She couldn't find my reservation.) I was worried because the office was supposed to close at 2pm! I tried the code that I was given on the wrong room because I had been given a room other than what I booked without notice. It was fine but I booked the room when I was recovering from knee surgery and I wasn't sure if I was going to have recovered in time, so I booked a ground floor room. But it was very clean, appliances were good, bed was comfortable, location lovely.
