Spectacular Cabin with a Tough Driveway
We stayed here for our anniversary. The views were spectacular and the directions on how to get there are very good. Two improvements: (1) we contacted the property owner twice on how to start the dishwasher - turns out the door needed to be open and press start (a bit of a pain doing the problem solving), and (2) the driveway gate needs a light at night because the road and turnout are pitch black. Not ideal when you are having to navigate.

wonderful cabin, amazing experience
This cabin is a peaceful, wonderful place. We're so happy we got to experience it. Comfortable and the deck view is breathtaking. We couldn't get the fire started but we didn't ask for help either. I realized an hour and a half after we'd driven away that I left a coat and leather jacket in the closet. The owners/hosts couldn't have been more gracious about it and mailed it back to me without giving me attitude for leaving them behind. We hope to return someday, we had a great time!

We stayed here after our wedding for the weekend as a short honeymoon, and we are already making plans to book this place next year for our one year anniversary! The pictures online do not do the view justice, the house itself is so homey and the location is breathtaking.

Simply Amazing
A perfect 4 day stay , wish it were longer. The view is amazing as well as the house. Felt at home the minute we opened the door. The owners have thought of everything. Loved all the special touches throughout but nothing beats the view from inside the house and the deck. It was secluded and quiet but very close to town. We are already planning our next adventure there.

Cozy and relaxing
House was exactly as advertised. Very relaxing place. Just wanted to curl up a read a book every where I sat. The place would have been great in any season. We were there in the winter but it would have been a relaxing place any time. Homeowner was very up front and accommodating. Allowed us to check in early and check out late (winter weather was forecasted the night before). Would highly recommend for any visit to Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, or Dupont Forest.

Perfect Mountain Getaway
This cabin really is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures! We loved how clean, cozy, comfortable and well equipped this place was. The view is breathtaking. It's perfectly situated on a secluded part of the mountain, but close enough to town for convenience. Jennifer was extremely helpful and kind to us during our stay, she truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect vacation. We can't wait to book another vacation here!

Brevard Cabin
This is a beautifully located cabin with a gorgeous view, a responsive owner and everything you need to enjoy a peaceful stay in the mountains. The cabin is just 10 minutes or less to downtown Brevard (and the Brevard Summer Music Festival), but totally isolated in its mountain aerie location. Words of caution --- the well-maintained gravel driveway is steep and curvy in places and quite long.; the tv is in the loft area with steeper than normal stairs that could be a problem for the elderly and the tv reception can be spotty when there are storms in the area. Other than that, it's perfect for two to four people.

Excellent cabin near Brevard!
Our family of four had a wonderful time staying here. The cabin was perfect for us, both in terms of location, size, and amenities. Remotely located most of the way up a ridge, while at the cabin we felt away from everything and everyone, with a glorious view. Yet we were only a 5-10 minute drive from a restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, or the awesome toy store in Brevard. Best of both worlds! The cabin itself is comfortable, tidy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We had plenty of space to spread out in the main room and the loft, eating, reading, playing games, watching movies. And the bedrooms were just right, with good mattresses and a terrific primary bathroom with a very spacious sunken shower. Of course the showstopper is the view from the huge windows in the main room. Just awesome. We had a wonderful time!

What a wonderful hideaway in the woods, yet so close to downtown! Received a message from Jennifer right before we arrived that they added a new fire pit area. It was great! We really enjoyed our stay here, and will be back.

Second time just as nice!
We enjoyed our second visit to this cabin and it did not disappoint. The view is wonderful! Accommodations clean and comfy! The owner provides paper products, soaps and k-cups! Lord willing we will be back.

The view is superb and the cabin is fantastic! Beds and furniture are comfortable. Easy checkin and checkout. Owner left a booklet with clear instructions on how everything works. Easy Communication and prompt responses with owner. Gravel driveway is easy to negotiate. I highly reccomend this cabin!!

This cabin was secluded yet close to town. It had a wonderful view and was very comfortable. I loved the rustic simplicity Of the cabin decor and the ability to walk and hike right out the door. We will definitely recommend it and return!

Renting the property was easy, and the information sent prior to the visit was wonderful. It was close to Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock. The home was close to many yummy restaurants. We had fun playing ping pong. Would love to have stayed longer, but was a bit pricey for a weekend.

The perfect mountain retreat
Our stay at this beautiful cabin exceeded all expectations. The home was pristine, beyond clean, charming, and with every amenity you could possibly need. The view from the back deck was gorgeous and such a nice way to begin and end each day. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and wine as the sun was setting each evening. The location of this cabin was so convenient to downtown Brevard, only a 7-8 minute drive! Also an easy drive to DuPont State Park for some waterfall hikes and Pisgah National Forest for fly fishing and hiking. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We cannot wait to return!! Thank you for providing such a beautiful mountain retreat!

Everything went smooth with the check in and the property was amazing. The only downside to the property is that it’s a shame that the Playroom doesn’t have a heater. Its a great place but we went in the winter and the kids couldn’t bear the cold down there. Please see if you can somehow incorporate a heater in the playroom. Beautiful conveniently located cabin with a spectacular view
My husband, our teenage son and daughter, and I spent five days here this past Christmas. The view was amazing and the cabin was beautiful! Everything was as advertised. You could see the sun rise in the east and also see it set in the west as you had a 180 degree view from the great room. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you needed. The game room was great - we even played ping pong in the cold because it was so much fun! I'm sure it's loads of fun in the better weather as it's screened in. We used the loft as a second bedroom. It was very spacious and large enough to put a Queen air mattress in. The host was very easy to communicate with, and made it easy to enter the property. The guidebook was super detailed, making directions easy as well. The best part is that it is secluded yet only ten minutes from town, if that. It was the perfect cabin!!! Probably the best property we have stayed at. My daughter already asked if we could come back :)

Hi Anne Marie - thank you for such a nice write up! We are thrilled you all enjoyed it so much! And so glad you used the screened porch despite the weather ~ definitely please come back when the weather is nice - we’ve had weeks where we practically lived down there, only taking short breaks to run up to grab more snacks! This is our first year renting it, we mostly rent thru Airbnb because we haven’t been able to get any reviews on this site so thanks for helping us get in-stuck on VRBO! Take care!
