The moxy brand is fresh, modern and consistent. Love it. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and easy checking in/out. The location is perfect to walk into old town , local transportation tight outdoor. The lobby is a vibrant area to relax, eat, watch tv and enjoy a drink. Offers board games, pool and foosball. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay. Will look for Moxy in other cities.

Moxy York's location was excellent. It was an easy walk to Shambles area and Minster. Room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Excellent place to stay.

The major complaint was that there was no place to store your items. If there were a few shelves and a few more hooks that would help.

The decor is very modern which is great but it’s skews way too minimalistic for our taste, there are hardly any shelves in the room and no drawers or closet to place clothes. There are no shelves on the bathroom for personal items and no mini fridge either.

Loved the light under the bed that automatically came on as you got up in the night. Very central and easy walking distance from everywhere. 20 minute walk from station Would definitely stay again

I was in a family weekend for a hen party. The hotel accommodates us as a group, welcomed our plans as we had fancy dress on one of the days and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will be booking and staying again. Only downside was the pillows, they weren’t supportive enough for myself, but no complaints at all, had a great stay.

Property is very modern and they have games downstairs which is good to pass an hour here or there. You get a free welcome drink at the bar which is a gin punch which was ok - a nice surprise. Bedroom was similar to a premier inn. Fair size. Very comfy bed Only downside was the bathroom - it had no window and smelt of damp as it got no ventilation. This wasn’t pleasant. Hotel was fine to get your head down and a good location to be able to walk into York. Probably wouldn’t stay again but decent stay for the price paid.

A great, modern, cool vibe. Great staff, lovely atmosphere and the room was clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. Reception is such a nice place to chill out we spent a lot more time there than we had envisaged! We’ll be back.

Perfect position for a hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice room, just lacking some storage space. Food somewhat limited although a nice bar area. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for xmas markets and being in the centre. Parking around the corner 5 min walk. Staff couldnt do more and very polite. Gluten free beer and a good selection of gluten free at breakfast also.

Fantastic service, great atmosphere and clean room. Meals were amazing, I normally struggle with glutton and milk free but best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Close to town centre for Christmas market.
