Très bel hôtel, des plus charmants, dans un immeuble construit en 1535. Excellent service, personnel à l’écoute, excellents petits déjeuners , très bel endroit. Seul bémol: il n’y a pas de climatisation. Nous y sommes allés en pleine canicule… Ils avaient mis des ventilateurs à notre disposition et nous ont même offert gracieusement de l’eau fraîche, mais il faisait chaud. Quant au reste, tout était parfait!

The bedroom was well equipped with everything that you might need. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities for making drinks in the room, the bathroom was equipped with quality products for showering and hand washing . Breakfast was superb with a wide choice of options. I extended my stay by a further night and dined in the restaurant. Taste and presentation complimented each other, the bar offers an extensive range of wines. beers, spirits drinks to please everyone. I will definitely be staying there again in the future. Highly recommend it.

Nice room and ensuite. Tv had no signal and no room booklet with any info . Food in bar was really good but staff were not great at making you feel welcome. Not great people skills. Breakfast was lovely. Good choices and pleasant waitress. In a fantastic position just 2 mins walk from Blenheim Palace.

Lovely Stay!
Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely room with a comfortable bed and great breakfast. We stayed for one night to visit Blenheim Palace lights, which is on the doorstep and walking distance from the hotel.

A very pleasant stay
Lovely spacious room. The ensuite shower room provided luxurious toiletries and lovely big fluffy towels. The coffee maker was a nice touch but there were no instructions. Tried to use it but couldn't work it, but the coffee bags were delicious as were the complimentary chocolates. Parking was a bit of an issue. Was told beforehand that parking permits would be provided at a cost of £10 per day but on arrival no permits were available. Parked in the public car park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good, although both the food and drink could have hotter.

I loved it here. Very clean and comfortable room. I can have whatever I want for breakfast!!! Might not be much of a breakfast for anyone else but I love my hard boiled eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes 💕💕

The breakfast was utterly appalling. The bacon was cheap streaky that was almost raw, the fried eggs were welded on top of each other one with a very runny yoke and the one literally on top of it was just a flat hard yellow mess. To make matters worse the eggs had long hairs on them. I managed to find some staff and showed them, another plate came out with exactly the same state the first ones were in, one not cooked properly and the other still a flat hard yellow splat on the plate, and strangely enough it was minus the sausage!! The mushroom was inedible hard and leathery. The young chap serving me poured me literally half a cup of coffee out of a grubby vacuum jug, had to ask for more and the toast came on top of the excuse for a breakfast, had to ask for a side plate, I was the only one in the grubby dining room at 9.30, breakfast finished at 10.00. I used to love staying here when it was looked after properly, what on earth have you done to this lovely old establishment Fullers, shame on you.

Quirky fun
This is a charming small hotel with a little fun quirkiness added . Our room was upstairs , then down two . We had a very large step up to our bathroom , which we found funny . Overall a very nice hotel . Breakfast was very nice and our hostess / server was very friendly and efficient.

Great place to stay in Woodstock. Breakfast is good and being in a pub is great! Our room was a good size and very well equipped. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Note that the A44 runs past the property, but they supply each room with a high grade fan, so you don't need windows open if (like us) you're not used to road noise. They also supply (at a cost) parking permits as parking in Woodstock can be complicated.
