An old friend and I, both arriving from different destinations, spent a weekend at the Fairhaven. For us it was great. We just needed a base for 3 nights and it served us well. We only used it for sleeping, washing and dressing, so I can't comment on other facilities.

Gorgeous town to visit, all walkable. Hotel was not pricey at all but you get what you pay for. Reminds me of a hostel but private room and shower. Shower had hot water and was the best thing about the hotel. Room was clean but simple as can be. I had two single beds, separated, not very comfortable mattress, probably very old ones. Wi-Fi worked only in the lobby. If you just want to sleep and save money…

This was our second stay, the room was spaces with lovely big bay windows, the windows could do with being cleaned as they were covered in bird feaces. There was live music right below our room, which was advertised, but the music was advertised to be on until 10pm, this wasn't the case, it kept going until 11pm, which was frustrating as we were exhausted after a very long day and were kept awake by the loud music. The staff that checked us in were friendly and polite. The young lady on the front desk in the morning looked very unhappy and didn't greet us as we left to get breakfast in a nearby restaurant. Overall we like this hotel die to it's location and the nice rooms we've stayed in.We would stay again, but would probably request a room on a higher floor due to the noise.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the reception staff who were super friendly and helpful. Booked this hotel.last minutes and with it's starr.rating, i had my doubts. However it was great. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Clean towels and bedding (all bright white) Shower room was modern and also.spotless. tea and coffee provided and a fancy pre filled drinking water bottle was a fab touch. Shampoo and body wash in the shower and hand wash on the sink. Nothing was too much trouble. We even sat In the seating area outside on the front and ate our takeaw as well. Breakfast was continental, but hot croissant and petit pains were a great start to the day, also available was cereal, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. Unlimited tea and coffee, all for ,£4.95. it's served until 11, so enabled a nice leisurely start to the day. Well.worth visiting and a fab price on Expedia.

Good location with plenty of parking just a short walk away. We were only there for the 1 night and the room was good/had a a great view of the beach. Unfortunately I found the mattress and pillows very uncomfortable, and given our rooms were above the entrance, people would smoke outside which wafted smoke into the room, even with them shut. Other than that, great stay and super clean room/bathoom.

We only stayed 1 night and was welcome with a lovely receptionist and was more than happy to above and beyond as we arrived early they held are bags so we could have a look around till our room was ready. Room was clean and aired which was nice only down side was mattress was very soft and had seen its life. But apart from that very friendly, we booked a meal in the Indian restaurant and OMG was the best we have eaten in a long time superb food very informative waitresses too. We had breakfast too which was equally just as delicious and plentiful and wide range to choose from full English was amazing as was the cappuccino. Very shabby round the edges, welcoming reception looks like there must be ongoing maintenance/renovations. Room - clean except for marks on carpet and dirty windows. Few minor snagging issues. Great sea view. Bathroom, toilet and bedding spotless. Would certainly stay again for a short break staff very helpful.

Great stay would stay again
Lovely place to stay, paid for a room on the sea front. The room was on the 3rd floor there is a lift, and the room was a great size. And it was great to be able to use Netflix and Amazon prime. Only had one breakfast which was great but piping hot so did go cold quick.

Great place will stay again!
This is a great location in Weymouth. In the centre and 5 minutes walk from the Britannia car park which is £6 for 24 hours. Service was excellent really friendly and happy to help us, nice clean room. There was a little bit of noise from cars on the esplanade as we had a room versioning the sea. Nothing intrusive.

Fantastic all round
We had a amazing stay with u steve was a fantastic manager and couldnt do enough to help the team was so friendly only thing i can say was wrong was no mirror in room to do hair and makeup only mirror was in bathroom also julie the in hoise pianist was AMAZING had a fantastic night in bar we will deffo be back thank u sarah and gareth room 305

The hotel was very cold, I complained on both the days we were there and told was told by the staff they would sort it out and given a small electric heater,to heat the room,

Hi Colin,Thanks for your feedback. We have an air conditioning system that heats and cools a number of our rooms. We hoped that by also giving you an electric heater that would have been sufficient for your needs, however we would have gladly given you a further heater had you asked. All the best,
