« It was like stepping back in time. We especially loved the swing on the porch and the friendly cat Leo. The only thing was trying to find the ice and iron. Finally journeyed to the cellar and found both. Just had difficulty finding an outlet for the iron. Otherwise our stay was great. »

« Beautiful old house in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the lake and downtown. Louisa was our hostess. She was very friendly and helpful even ran to the Grey Gables restaurant next door to make our dinner reservation for us. We had the room off the living area so there was a little noise when the restaurant patrons left for the evening but it was very brief and no trouble at all. The huge King bed was perfectly pillow like for me, albeit a bit too soft for my husband, but no mattress will...
