« Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night. « We came for a long weekend to watch the solar eclipse. Dave's place is exactly as shown in the photographs - a very nice apartment, very clean and updated, and the beds were super comfortable. The house rules were clear and easy to follow, and our host Dave was very responsive. We had a very nice time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dave. »

« My adult children, spouses, and grandkids ranging in age from 7 months to 20 all had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out in this spacioius house, swimming and hot tubbing, playing pool, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend. »

« Totally awesome! Giving this property and the hosts five stars simply is not enough. The tree house is immaculate and gorgeous. The hosts are extremely accommodating and go above and beyond with small details to insure their guests have a wonderful experience. We had so much fun and were able to relax and enjoy the treehouse and all it had to offer. This is one stay where you won't be disappointed. We look forward to returning in the future. »

« The fishing was amazing right off the dock, not the big trout but the panfish type. We rented a boat right down the road conveniently located and caught the lake trout. It was nice to have the bedroom on the first floor for my BIL who has difficulty doing stairs. There were plenty of comfortable chairs inside and out for comfortable bird watching and sunsets. Although we are too old to use them there were kayaks and a canoe. I would definitely come back. »

« We stayed 4 nights while hiking and hitting the wineries and cider houses. It was nice, cute and well stocked. For us, it was pretty much centralized to all of our activities but there isn't anything within walking distance but a short drive to town for pizza or the grocery store. »

« We truly enjoyed our stay during my nieces graduation. Instructions from the host are very detailed, clear and easy to follow. « The property was clean and welcoming =) Loved the games and DVDs for our 5 year old to play/watch before bed. Having easy access to lake was amazing - fishing, roasting s'mores - just a relaxing time with family. Took a walk around the lake and just up the road was a nice playground our daughter had a blast on. Also just up the road - the "Cortland Repertory Theatre" looked really interesting. « We had a wonderful stay at Christine's property. The house was more spacious than expected and fit 17 of us (adults) comfortably. Only steps away from a dock overlooking lake Owasco. Tons of backyard space for lawn games. Driveway had tons of space and was only 10 minutes away from the downtown of Auburn. Christine was wonderful and we hope to come back again! »

"On the day of my arrival, the receptionist was rather reluctant to give me any information, being busier eating cream cakes and watching videos on his phone. Also, on my first night, groups of young people gathered in one room and partied until late, preventing me from sleeping the night before an important meeting. But above all, the area around the hotel is devoid of pleasant places to walk to for breakfast, and it was complicated to find where to have breakfast before going to my work meetings downtown. I really wish the hotel had a minimal breakfast service. That said, the hotel is clean, the bedding comfortable, and the other members of staff friendly enough. "
