VERY annoying that NON-South Africans are fleeced, having to pay FOUR TIMES as much as locals. Other countries should impose similar pricing for S Africans when they travel.... :)

Very moving and a lot of history
Ensure you book as far ahead as you can as the tours get booked up. Very worthwhile to see. On arrival a bus drives round the island to get an overview & a guide talks about the history. Then another guide, previously a political prisoner takes you around & describes what happened there.
Make sure you book in advance- gets very booked up & can be cancelled due to bad weather.
