No heating in bathroom
Charming hotel but there was no heating in the bathroom which was very cold (10 C). You can feel the freezing cold through the windows and walls.

Hi Jean,So sorry to hear this. All our bathrooms have radiators, if it doesn't seem to be working please always contact Reception and we can get our maintenance team to get it sorted.We hope you will give us another chance whenever you're next in the area :-)

Friendly and informative staff team. Some noise from afternoon children's party, however team clear on time of party and when it would finish, Lovely food throughout the stay.

Staff were excellent, in particular Reece. Nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed

First off, I've marked down for the shower. It was stuck on cold - unless i couldnt figure it out, but if theres a special knack then it should be made obvious to users. Overall the hotwl was everything else we needed. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, tea and coffee to hand, and nice staff. Would use again. Our room [22] was a little tired in places but it served its purpose for the most part

Stayed here for a night in The Garden House with our dog. Perfect walled in garden. Lovely comfy sofas and huge bedroom. All the staff were helpful and nothing was a problem. Will definitely be back and recommend the hotel, bar and restaurant.

Hi Andrew,So sorry about the car park comments, we are having some work done on our roof which means the scaffolding has taken away a few spaces. We always suggest popping into Reception if you're struggling to find a space and we can help you out! The air con units should be silent so we will look into this.We hope you managed to enjoy your stay with us despite this :-)

A great hotel with some issues
The food served in the restaurant both for breakfast and evening has been exceptional - top marks . The hotel itself ,the downstairs communal areas are well decorated and presented complimented with a good atmosphere. Room conditions are better than others . My only real gripe is that some rooms have a non thermostat shower mixer tap over the bath - this gives way to a hot & cold shower - not an enjoyable experience! Overall a great hotel and stay

The hotel was beautiful as was the room, however our air conditioning unit made a loud clicking noise throughout the night and kept waking me and my partner so we didn't actually get much sleep. Apart from that the hotel was lovely and hopefully they can get the issue fixed.
