« I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. « Our stay at the cabin was very relaxing. The waterfront, lawn and house are pristine and inviting. Our fur baby, Casa, also enjoyed her stay at the cabin. She wasn't a bit skiddish and didn't hide at all. She fully enjoyed looking out the sliding doors and seeing geese, squirrels and birds up close! This is a property I'd highly recommend to any traveler. »

« This cabin was plenty big for our family of 6 and cozy at the same time. It was nicely decorated and felt like home. Our 2 smaller dogs enjoy the space as well as a nice walk around the lake. Our kids enjoyed watching movies with the fireplace going and overlooking the beautiful lake from the large windows. We would definitely stay here again! »

« This property is a duplex. That should be disclosed in the listing. Compared to other VRBOs we’ve stayed at, this one is lacking in the kitchen. Not well stocked with spices,pans, utensils, ziplocks, etc. The house is so slanted that we couldn’t even sit in the dining room. »

« It is an interesting property with lots of outdoor deck space. Inside there is a comfortable living room. The beds are older and not made to support someone who is 200 lb or more (I purchased a blow up air mattress). The kitchen is well provisioned. I was there for work so did not explore the lake, it looks a bit swampy near the house. You need to bring your own boat to do this. »

« Property owners are very friendly, and the property is good overall, and I would come here again. Very competitive price for other options in Duluth. As mentioned in other reviews, the HVAC is rather loud, so this might not be a good fit for someone who is a light sleeper. »

« We stayed at this location for the Madeline Island Marathon, and it was a lovely house! Very close proximity to the ferry to Madeline Island. Large open kitchen was nice as well and everything was very clean. »

« This is such an adorable cottage just outside of Bayfield. The decor is fabulous and comfortable. We loved the Poochie's Porch to drink coffee and read books. Very easy interaction with owners. They were prompt with texts and thoughfully checked in with us. Higly recommend! »

« I needed a place for overnight to attend a Friday night wedding near Hudson. The staff allowed me an early check in so I could get ready. It was clean, quiet and breakfast in the morning was just enough to start the day. There are many places nearby to grab snacks and even Thrift shop on your way out. »
