Great little hotel. Ideal for a short trip to NewQuay. Bus from airport right on door step and a short walk to the town. There is a stunning beach right accross the road.

Lovely lady’s on reception when checking in. Room carpet needs a very good deep clean, a few big stains on carpets. Shower n toilet needs up dating. Shower got too hot and you couldn’t turn it down to cool. Light switches to bed room n bathroom just stuck on the main door jorm which needs rectifying. Just glad we had only booked a one night stay.

The property is right in front of the sea. Beautiful view from my room. The radiator did not work but when i wpoke to reception, straightaway i was given a heater. The toilet flushing system was bad. You had to wait a long time for it to fill up before flushing.

Great location on the main road into the town opposite one of the main beaches in Newquay and within a short walk of the town centre amenities. The communal areas are really nice and the welcome excellent. The main room was okay with a comfortable bed and modern TV. The green-coloured bathroom was the biggest disappointment which was in need of renovation and a very good clean. Offered value for money out of season and would stay again

The bedroom wasn't upta much you could here the wind blowing through the window the bar had closed due to a break in and no entertainment i saw it as a waste of money

Enjoyable stay, staff were friendly and welcoming. Comfortable stay for a weekend in Newquay. Location is good, all walkable for Newquay town or to porth.

Expedia,did not inform it was Friday i cancelled,they were told i had no Room in 29th,though Expedia sent me a message confirming this.6 hour drive to say i should have checked in yesterday.Room was ready, people came and went, thought sat opposite desk,were we were told to sit.No one informed us,20 past 3,we had to ask. Once in room, nothing like photos.Was told no parking it's all gone,but we could park round corner carpark,it was miles away.We asked to dine at the restaurant,but was told we couldn't as it was booked for a private function.No extra, pillow's provided,only one chair,in a double room.Folk slamming doors outside our room,folk banging and running around above our room.I cannot tell you what breakfast is like as,we haven't got to that yet,day one is Now.NEVER again you have ruined my time off work on so called holiday.

A disappointment
The hotel is very dated and in much need of a revamp and a good clean. The room was not as advertised and in a poor state of repair. We decided to check out after only one night. The receptionist was very helpful and booked us into a sister hotel in St Mawes which was a lovely hotel with a nice room and much higher standard of finish

Poor hotel
Hotel only had so many parking spots avaiable which we booked but found out that we coudnt have them as not booked directly with hotel and had to use other hotel parking. Breakfast was poor, some of the bread was moldy. Room was small but clean, small shower room and toilet space, shower door handle inside was smashed so couldnt close door from inside shower. You could hear evey door shut to bedrooms and doors to stairs and made the walls in room shake Lifts were broke. Personnel on reception were very polite bud this was the only nice thing about our stay. Would not stop again.

Very dissatisfied
The room was 3 floors up and the lift was out of order, very untidy paintwork in all the halls . My room was in great need of restoration, poorly cared for with a very tired feel to it and I didn't want to walk on the carpet. Shower was horrible with poor tiling, badly maintained and very out dated. Would not recommend this hotel and won't stay here again .

Should be condemned. Septic gas alone is killing people. Think of every criteria you would rate a hotel on. They fail all. Drunks come in at 2am. Segulls start at 4am. Fire doors lock in toxic fumes on interior rooms. Noise from busy road probably makes outside rooms bad. Fire doors slamming mostly in morning sound like bombs going off. Should be priced half as much. Or torn down.

Mint weekend
Got to say one of the best weekends hotel was lovely staff was so friendly and the night time entertainment was good the room was nice the bathroom let it down but had one of the best views ever and will be going back
This was the view from are window we even seen a Smurf lol

The staff were brilliant an attentive. Cheap and cheerful place! Brilliant for a weekend stay for nights out. Not the absolute best condition in the rooms but who goes on holiday to sit in the hotel room for the duration?! The one con I have is the information on the website is wrong!! Only the breakfast times but makes a huge difference!! On website is 7.30am to 8.30 am but spoke to front desk and the lady (sorry didn’t catch a name! All staff over the weekend were brilliant) and she said that the breakfast is from 8am to 10am!! Overall a decent stay! Will definitely be coming back!
