Première nuit catastrophique , pas de chauffage, le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas , un peu de rouille dans la salle de bain ,au réveil le matin plus d eau . Attention il n y a pas de brosse dans les toilettes pour nettoyer mais c est comme ça dans toutes les chambres . Après réclamation ils nous ont upgrades . La nuit était vraiment meilleure , frigo et coffre fort dans la chambre , donc nous étions contents pour la deuxième nuit . L hôtel se trouve proche de rues marchandes et des transports .

Very poor rooms. Old and poorly decorated. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Has to move rooms 3 times. No air conditioning in the hotel. Breakfast was tasteless and poor quality. Very overpriced and would not return to this hotel.

Unfortunately the property is a little dated and needs some upgrades. This is particularly related to the key card system as the keys don’t work if they go near your phone. The staff were friendly on the whole and willing to help. The breakfast was lovely and the view was appreciated when eating in the restaurant.

We had a one night visit on a Saturday in February. Parking was very convenient at the hotel. We found the room clean but a little compact and we were disappointed that there wasn’t any chairs in the room so if you want to sit down you could only use the bed. We didn’t dine so I’m can’t comment here. The hotel was busy ad seemed well maintained.

Only one thing the restaurant times, when your in at 9.15pm and you wave the girl waitress over and she decides to clear the table instead of serving you, and then to finally get hold of some one els for them to say they have stopped serving, we have a drink and they serve another table with food. Not happy. Until then I would say perfect hotel, staff friendly

We were given the wrong room to begin with. We had to request the room get cleaned 3 times and asked for new towels 3 times as well. Expected better but the 2nd room was nice

This is a really well located hotel in central Manchester. It was clean & comfortable, the tea making facilities in the room were welcomed. However, it does suffers from street noise but once the teams stop at midnight, it's fairly quiet.

Stayed here many times without any problems but this stay was shocking. It queued for 30 minutes to check in. Hotel was very busy. Only two members of staff on reception. Lifts are a nightmare. Once i checked in it took over 10 minutes to get to the 7th floor because the lifts are wholly inadequate when the hotel is busy. The room was freezing cold. I literally dropped my stuff and headed out. Didnt return to my room till after 11pm. I tried to get the heating to work but it only blew out cold air. Next morning there was no hot water and the towel rail was cold. I had a luke warm in shower in a freezing cold bathroom. When leaving myself and two young girls decided to take the stairs after 10 minutes of waiting for a lift. We used the stairs to the immediate right of the lifts. There was no proper signage on the stairs and we found ourselves in the linen room on what i think was the 1st floor. This is a serious security risk putting staff and customers risk. All theses points were discussed when i checked out and was given a full refund.

Good location but that's about it...
The whole property is tired and dated. We had booked a double bed but got two singles pushed together - we were just staying one night and got in late so no time to complain and bother to switch rooms really. We had the 'do not disturb' sign on in the morning but the housekeeping man was loudly knocking on our door at 9am to ask when we were checking out? The whole room didn't seem too clean. We had a lot of noise from people in the coridoors and adjacent rooms in the middle of the night - and we couldn't have a glass of water due to no cold water coming out the tap, it was only warm water! Wouldn't stay again, especially at just under £200 for one night on a saturday!

Litt skuffet over tilstanden til rommet. Fremstår ganske slitent og gammelt. Går ikke an å lufte så var ganske dårlig luft. Første gang jeg er på et hotell uten kjøleskap. Det positive var personalet og at det er sentralt.

Short stay over to see Depeche Mode.
Nice functional hotel close to Manchester Piccadilly station. Just a short stay over to attend Manchester Arena. Hotel was as expected as we had stayed at Mercure hotels previously with the expectations of a good hotel and facilities.
