We checked in on 23rd and checked out on 29th January, total 6 nights stay (room #146). We checked in on 23rd January. We did some outside activities but stayed mainly at your hotel enjoying exclusively your hotel’s food and beverage. Specially on 27th and 28th, we exclusively stayed at Marriott Phuket from morning to evening. The problem is I became very ill on the night of 28th, after the diner at the seaside restaurant ( we ate the Lobster and beef set + cheese burger) followed by ana iced coffee at the lobby bar. I started to vomit, I vomited total 3 times and got severe diarrhea. On 29th, We stayed in the room and called urgently a doctor. My companion started to be ill while departing the hotel toward the airport. It was a nightmare. We continued being ill for almost 7 more days back to Paris. 2 days out of 6 days ruined. And we even do not have positive memory as the trip ended badly rattan than recharging us. We made official claim to the GM (Mr Matthias Sutter) of the hotel, but he thinks it is not hotel's problem. So at 5th day of staying at that hotel, eating and drinking and sleeping on the hotel's bed, peeing at the hotel's toilettes exclusively at the hotel. He says the vomitting and diarrhea is not because of the hotel's hygiene. So is this ours??????? Very disappointed. I think this hotel lacks the fundamental hygienic issues. Don't go to Marriott Phuket. You and your family will be coming back sick and disappointed.

Très bon hotel
Tout a été parfait dans notre séjour au Marriott. Accueil, chambre, piscines, plage, restauration, tout est à très bon niveau. Si un seul point négatif: sachez que Mai Khao est très éloigné des centres de vie de l'ile, et que, sans parler de sortir le soir, même aller au supermarché acheter des produits suppose un déplacement en auto. L'hotel le sait, et fait payer cher ses services...

Bel hotel mais excentre
Immense hotel bien équipé et au bord de la plage. Toutefois, les chambres sont un peu impersonnelles et il faut parcourir des km pour aller d'un point à un autre. Surtout cet hotel est très excentre et situé dans une zone sans commerces ni activités. Les prix pratiqués dans les restaurants de l'hôtel sont extravagants et les chauffeurs de taxi pratiquent des prix qui s'assimilent au racket (comme partout à Phuket)

Un beau resort, calme, accueillant et reposant
Le JW Marriott Phuket garantit le calme à ses clients. En effet, l'hôtel se situe au nord de Phuket, loin des grands lieux touristiques beaucoup moins agréables pour passer des vacances reposantes. Le service est excellent, le staff souriant et disponible. L'occupation semblait basse dans l'hôtel, on se sentait vraiment à l'aise. Buffet petit-déjeuner très complet, beaucoup de choix et bon accueil, trois piscines, plusieurs bars, et une salle de sport avec des équipements très qualitatifs. Seul petit bémol pour le restaurant italien, sans grand intérêt et accueil médiocre. Mais dans l'ensemble un bon 5/5 pour le JW!

5年前に初めて行って気に入り、今回また選びました。広大な敷地・緑の多さ・ガーデンの美しさ・静かさは満点❗️プールが3つあり、その中の1つは12歳未満不可なので、とっても静かに過ごせました。1度強めのスコールがありましたが、後は天気にも恵まれ、1週間のんびりと過ごせました。スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで親切でした。

Total oasis 15 mins from the airport. One of the only swimmable beaches and it’s lovely, with gentle waves in the morning and tree swings overlooking the shore. Incredible deep adult pools, impeccable service, delicious food at every restaurant, family areas with games, walkable shopping area. Transferred from another hotel on the east side for this and so grateful we did. Fully recommend. Only thing I would’ve liked would’ve been loungers and service on the beach.

This is an older but very well maintained hotel, great food options, three beautiful pools and the beach is fantastic with soft golden sand and a mild surf. The people are super friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

Godt men mulighed for forbedringer.
Generel set et behageligt ophold. Jeg har været på flere Mariott hoteller og har generelt været tilfreds. Men jeg få oplevelser ødelagde luksus stemningen under dette ophold, som jeg nu vil dele, så hotellet har noget at bruge til forbedring. Jeg havde været på 4-5 andre hoteller forinden. Nogle 4 stjernet og andre 5. På dette hotel tog indtjekningen længst tid. (20 minutter) Receptionisten havde ikke helt styr på kreditkort mv. hvorfor det tog ekstra lang tid. Det er ikke hvad man har brug for efter en lang rejse. Hotellet gjorde brug af sprit/benzin lugtende midler under rengøring af udendørs klinker. Det var ikke behageligt at lugte til. Selv ved poolen, kunne jeg lugte det. Og når man har et lille barn, bliver man lidt utryg. Poolen var generelt meget beskidt grundet den frodige natur på hotellet. Insekter og blade flød i vandet. Nogle medarbejdere kunne evt. gå rundt og opsamle snavs fra overfladen. Der mangler restauranter på hotellet, som er mere børnevenlige. Måske med små legeområder, således børnene kan underholde sig selv. Evt. flyt movie night udenfor under åben himmel. Fasthold mulighederne for aktiviterne med paddleboard og kayak, samt gratis benyttelse. Det var godt.

A Wonderful Stay
This property has a beach front location making it easy access to the water. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The pool is expansive and had plenty of room for our group of eight. We dined one evening at Ginja and had a delicious meal. Service staff at the restaurant were gracious and friendly. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we had on our 10 day trip. Do not miss the French Toast! The front desk staff were very helpful in securing a taxi to the supermarket for us. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!

心尽くしのおもてなしとスタッフの皆さんの笑顔で、とても素敵な3日間を過ごしました。 チェックイン時に今日が誕生日だとお伝えしたら、お部屋に誕生日ケーキを届けてくださったり、フロントで予約をお願いしたGinja restaurant では、チェックイン時の記念写真とメッセージがテーブルに飾られサプライズをいただき、更にディナーの最後にはバースデーソングを歌いながらスタッフの皆さんからバースデーケーキで再び素敵なサプライズがあり、心に残る嬉しい思い出が出来ました。広大なホテルの敷地内には様々なジャンルのレストランと施設があり、雨でも退屈する事なく充実のホテルライフを過ごしました。またプーケットに来てこちらに滞在したいと強く望んでいます。ホテルの皆さま本当にありがとうございました！！

I loved this hotel. It felt like a resort. Food was good and lots to do. Wish I would have stayed here longer. Staff were all very accommodating and helpful.
