Pour le prix payé, je peux dire que c'est une arnaque !!! Appart au rez de chaussée, simple vitrage avec carreaux cassés. Pas de volet, juste un simple rideau non occultant, les 2 pans de rideaux tenus par une aiguille ! Appart très bruyant la nuit. Lit de très petite taille, inconfortable avec ressorts. Salle de bain en mauvais état avec des lampes rouillées, prêtes à nous tombées dessus, douche ultra petite. Cuisine très mal montée, tout de travers. Les plinthes qui ne tiennent pas au mur ...

Les + : Hotel bien situé, chambre/appartement large et correcte pour le prix.
Les - : La reception n'est pas situé sur le lieux de l'hotel, mais à seulement une station de métro donc facilement accessible.
Situation : Le quartier de Paddington était trés plaisant et animé, et pratique pour pouvoir se déplacer dans le reste de la ville.

Nice hotel in theory but not in practice

Les - : Please have a phone in the rooms, especially when the front desk is so far away.
Situation : perfect location. Close to hyde park.
There is no phone in the room. Plus, the internet connectivity is not reliable. We did not have internet for a whole day. What is more frustrating is the front desk is 25 minutes away from the apartments, so if you have to complain about something you have to travel all the way wasting the precious time as they do not have a phone in the room and the internet unreliable. Otherwise, it is a nice place.

We were very disappointed with our stay here. We received an SMS the day before we arrived telling us the keys would need to be picked up off site, which started things off badly. This should be made much clearer before booking the room. The only access to our room was via stairs, through a rabbit warren of doors - very annoying and kinda dangerous with heavy luggage. The photos tell a different story to the rooms themselves. The heater seemed to be permanently on. The room didn't feel secure. There was a constant noise coming from the bathroom - possibly the lift shaft. You couldn't stand up in the shower. There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were really lumpy. There are plenty of other options in that price range nearby, so I'd recommend trying somewhere else.

Great location but no thanks

Day before arrival, we get an email telling us where to pick up the key at another location miles away..... why was this not revealed before we booked? We would have not chosen this property. It cost us a taxi ride with all our baggage. No daily linen changes or housekeeping. No air conditioning. We could not open the window. One morning no hot water for showering, broiler broken. So... No Thanks. The location was great but there were other choices. Too costly for what we got.

Les + : Exceptionally well located, 2 mins from Paddington Station. Delivered on kitchen facilities, and offered free WiFi.
Les - : The hotel room is tired and in need of general maintenance. If I didn't need a kitchenette, I would have been better off at another hotel.
Situation : Lots of great sights minutes away by bus and Underground
Overall, the superior studio worked for us... 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed at their 9 Talbot St. Address but had to check in 1 mile away at another property. The lift broke down once during our 3 day stay but was fixed promptly. Staff we're friendly and the offer of bag storage on our last day was very helpful.

Close to sights

Les + : The hotel was around the corner from Paddington Station and there were many places to dine in the area.
Les - : Fix the lift and take care of the shower drain.
Situation : Nearby is Kensington Palace and the gardens which is a beautiful area. Around the corner is Paddington Station which can take you just about any where
We stayed at this hotel April 2014 and was quite cramped for 3 adults and 1 pre teen. We had a double bed and a double futon which were mildly comfortable. The lift in the apartment did not work and we were on the 4th floor. I had read other posts about the elevator not working before we left and had hoped that it would be fixed by the time we came, but it wasn't. I sure hope it is by now! The bathroom shower was tiny (I am 5'10 and slender) and had no shelf to hold any toiletries. The shower drain was extremely slow and I had to turn the shower of mid way before the water overflowed out into the bathroom and then I could resume my shower. This was another item that I had read about before the trip. I did advise the hotel, but we didn't see any difference in the shower drain for the rest of our stay.
