Nous avions réserver cet hôtel à la dernière minute (4 jours avant) suite à l'annulation de notre hébergement initial. Nous avons donc hésité entre plusieurs établissements et avons pris celui ci car il était le mieux noté : Nous en sommes malheureusement plutôt déçu dans l'ensemble. Chambre double éxécutive (donc l'une des meilleures chambres en principe) avec une baignoire cassé (morceaux de porcelaine cassé sur la baignoire et sur la vasque) pas de douchette (pas très pratique quand on ne veut pas se laver les cheveux...) pas de prise à côté du lit. Une seule prise à l'autre bout de la chambre ... Des rideaux de chambres cassé et pas de voilage. (en resumé : sois il fait tout noir, sois tout le monde vous voit) Concernant l'hôtel, ce n'est pas franchement mieux ... Un ascenseur effrayant qui a sans surprise fini par ne plus fonctionné dès la première journée. Avec des bagages et une journée de marche dans les pattes, plusieurs étages a pied, ça fait long. Point positif : la localisation est top, le quartier est vraiment sympa. Proche de la gare et de plusieurs commodités, nous ne regrettons pas notre choix pour cette raison. Cependant pour le reste, nous n'aurions pas du nous fier à la note de cet établissement. Certains membres du personnel n'étaient pas particulièrement agréable non plus ni compréhensif. Je ne penses pas que nous reviendrons. Car à quasiment 350€ les 2 nuits, nous pouvions aspirer à mieux. Nous vous remercions tout de même de nous avoir reçu.

Bel hôtel. Au départ, chambre avec un seul lit double assez petite. Nous avons demandé à changer pour une chambre à lits séparés qui était bien plus agréable, plus grande et plus fonctionnelle. Par contre, pas de clim. Au mois de Juin, ça passe encore. Fenêtres en simple vitrage. Même si l'hôtel est dans une rue très calme, il est situé entre deux grosses artères très passantes, et donc on entend en quasi continu un bourdonnement. Personnel à l'écoute, mais assez "snob". Bel emplacement proche de la station de métro Gloucester Road avec ses 3 lignes de métro, et tout proche des musées, et de Hyde Park via Exhibition Road. Le wifi fonctionne très bien et on peut laisser ses valises au concierge pour visiter Londres sans être encombré

Nous sommes restés sept nuits afin de découvrir Londres en amoureux, et l'hôtel était exactement ce que l'on recherchait : très bien situé, avec les plus grandes lignes du métro à 200 mètres de l'hôtel, deux supérettes, une pharmacie... Le personnel est vraiment soucieux de prendre soin de vous, et les chambres sont faites tous les jours. Nous le recommandons vivement

Grange Strathmore à Londres
Hôtel bien situé, zone calme, à 5 minutes du métro. Chambre confortable mais très petite, espace très réduit pour deux personnes, pas de place de rangement et armoire très exiguë. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable.

Considering the cost of the room the carpet in our room could have done with a shampoo. The cost of a full cooked breakfast was £24 so we went out. There are a number of cafes/restaurants offering a smaller far less expensive breakfast which are only a short walk away.

Overall we rated it high. Would have preferred an a la carte breatkfast option since I am gluten, egg and dairy intolerant and there were not many options available. Also, we did not have hot water in the bathroom the first day and a half, until I ran the shower for 10 minutes. After that we had hot water in the sink and shower both.

Nice hotel close to the V&A and other museums. The location is quiet even though it is almost next to a main road. The only thing is that the windows are a bit poor. Even when these are closed, it's a bit of a draw. Otherwise a good and inexpensive hotel with good connections to the underground.

This was great for a one night stay to do a concert at the Albert Hall or if you want to do a couple of days of the museums and parks. Clean room and bathroom with everything we needed for a good night sleep. A couple of great local pubs and the usual chains and few independent restaurants around d the tube stations and walkable to the Albert Hall and museums.

Lovely looking building from the outside. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very overheated in bedroom and no way of lowering temperature via a thermostat. Rooms could do with a makeover : carpet a bit worn, sink had small chip. Breakfast poor quality and very expensive.

The hotel is in a good location. The twin room we were given was above the lounge and the music from its ceiling speaker was audible in the room at a level which was annoying though not loud. The twin room 116 has an internal step. There is a notice on the room door about minding the step. It is not at head height. There are no further warnings side the room where the step is a few footsteps from the door. It has no visual delineation, in the dark or a moment’s distraction is enough to result in a dangerous situation.
