L’accueil du premier jour a été à peine passable ( aucun effort pour parler lentement afin qu’on puisse comprendre) La chambre n’a pas été nettoyée le premier jour (il fallait accrocher une pancarte à la porte or mes enfants logeant dans le même hôtel ne l’ont pas fait et leur chambre a été nettoyée) Aucune excuse de la part de la réceptionniste Le service pour les autres jours a été parfaitement correct et le personnel plus souriant. L’hôtel est très bien situé,le quartier très calme des restaurants et des commerces à proximité

Très mitigée. Heureusement que nous avons pu changé de chambre car quand nous sommes entrés dans la première une odeur nauséabonde et des mouches étaient présent! La deuxième était plus spacieuse et correcte. L’hôtel n’est pas du tout récent

Poor service from staff, on several occasions it was near impossible to get assistance with basic needs such as bathroom amenities like toilet paper, towels, and soap. There is no phone or way to communicate to reception from your room. Therefore you need to descend all the way to the lobby to then ask a reluctant and disgruntled employee for basic supplies. The room is very small and difficult to manage with bags. The bathroom was tiny and covered in mold and had no shelves or area for storage or toiletries. The sink basin was incredibly small so washing your hands, brushing your teeth or just getting ready would create a mess of water throughout the space. The bedroom was small and carpet was stained and clearly not well cleaned in a very long time. Bed sheets and linens were incredibly thin and scratchy. When we asked for an additional sheet to use, the receptionist was unwilling and unable to get us proper linens. When asked for a Queen/Double sized linen, the staff after approximately 90 minutes arrived with a twin sized set which was unusable. There is no central AC, only a small noisy, and dirty portable unit that is attached to the wall. For the exuberant pricing, you would expect at least basic service and cleanliness from what they advertise and charge for these rooms. We will not and cannot recommend this hotel after an overall horrible stay. The only positive is the location of the property.

The general area of the hotel was nice. Walkable to restaurants and sites. The room itself was quite small and the bathroom shower was a challenge to shower in - it was wee. We were woken up every day with a loud banging. It was the breakfast room door down the hall that was swinging whenever someone would walk through it and the sound ricocheted down the hall. We were in the basement of this hotel and steps getting to that level were narrow. The sheets were clean and in general it was sufficient to lay your head, but we did find a cockroach in the bathroom. Drinks from the coffee/drink bar were really expensive. It was nice to have AC, but it was capped at 22° and it got quite cold. No fan option for airflow. But windows did open easily.

My sister and me stayed in a cute little bedroom. The room and the bathroom had a lot of space for our cosmetics and we especially enjoyed the vanities with good lightning. We feel like a lot of hotels oversee the fact that especially women take time and space to get ready. The staff was super nice and the room was clean. We would have loved some hooks for hanging clothes, but the rest was very fine!

Great property. Close to Hyde Park and other tourist attractions. Easy walk to Oxford street and other shopping options. Room was smaller than expected but very clean. We were put close to the elevator and stairs(typical when booking with Expedia) but couldn’t hear any noise. Would’ve given it a 5 stars but the bathroom was extremely tiny.

Lovely, new bathroom however the Executive Double room was very very small. Bed pushed against the wall on one side and room for just one person to go past on the other; nothing like the photos. But staff very friendly and great location.

The place is SO tiny, I wasn’t expecting it. The room itself was barely big enough to have my suitcase, and the bathroom you could barely turn around in. Way over priced for what you receive. The location is what you are paying for as it’s centrally located within walking distance to quite a few popular locations. The let us check in early when we landed before typical check in so that was definitely a plus. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price.

This hotel was not very clean. My room floors were sticky, I found hairs in the bathroom from whoever had cleaned the shower, and there were stains on the bed liner. The hotel was too hot, especially the hallways. There was renovation work happening when I was there in the reception so I had to exit the hotel to get to reception. I could only use the gym if I was escorted down by staff, and one of the mornings there was no one at reception so I had to ask the builders to find the receptionist to come to reception so they could take me to the gym and open the door. The gym was a shoe box tiny and basic. All in all a very poor stay. Area is nice though.

Would not have stayed for second night if hadn’t been moved rooms. Tiny bathroom, barely move in shower. The drain backed up and would have overflowed had not turned shower off. So noisy with doors in hotel banging heavily, loud talking, staff outside room laughing and loudly talking at 7am on Sunday morning. Uncomfortable bed and greying towels. Second room was better. Good location and staff were lovely.

Pictures are deceiving. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. From the lobby to the actual room. Nothing looked as they did when I booked my room online. 3 of us in one room, 2 adults & 1 child (11yrs), the double bed & the twin seemed perfect and a very small sitting area was adequate as we were only staying our final night in the UK. I usually book based off pictures & reviews but moving forward I’ll pay attention to sq ft. Desk between the beds with an ottoman type seat was the “sitting” area. Decent amount of built ins for storage. Refrigerator wasn’t working, had it looked at by concierge, she said it was working. I told her to feel the inside walls (they were even remotely cold) she said the items inside felt cold. I told her that’s bc we brought them into the room cold. She said someone can look at the morning, I reminded her that we were only saying the one night so it wasn’t necessary for us, per se but for the next person that stays in that room. Obviously, the refrigerator not working isn’t the end of the world but we did have perishables that needed to stay cold. The stall shower filled up with water immediately. Each of us had to turn the shower off multiple times, while showering, in order to let it drain so it didn’t overflow onto the bathroom floor. The tv is compatible to cast or log in to streaming apps. Definitely a plus as our other 2 hotels did not have that during the trip.

Veldig fint hotell med romslig resepsjon og hyggelig service. Trappe oppgangene og heisen er «typisk engelsk»- smal og litt sjarmerende. Vi hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold og har ingenting å pirke på utenom at det ikke er lydtette rom. Det er store gliper under dørene en får med seg alt. Dersom du ikke har et tungt sovehjerte er ikke dette hotellet for deg. Ellers veldig fin beliggenhet, rent og pent, og som nevnt hyggelig personale.

The property was good for what we needed which was somewhere to sleep. We got an early check in and when we went to the room housekeeping were still in the room. When we entered it was clear we had either interrupted the cleaning or it was just not done. Dust everywhere and hairs on the bed sheets, pillows and in the bathroom. Staff were adequate with the operation but we witnessed blunt, unhelpful answers to other guests queries and quite worryingly this was to do with a financial transaction that the receptionist just did not seem to care about the other guests queries about their monies. Location of the hotel is great however near tube stations and easy to commute/walk around the area. Overall, the property served its purpose however we would not return.
