Good location, price/quality ratio

Hotel is close to main sights (10 minutes by foot). Get what you pay for. The owner is a very friendly lady, interesting to talk to.

Water in shower stone cold in the morning. When asked when it would be ready we were told it would take three hours for the ater to heat up. This was at 7.45 in the morning. After a poor breakfast which they would not serve before 8.00 we told the solitary staff member on the desk we would come back after we had been out to take a shower (check out was 13.00) when the water had actually heated up. We were then told at this point that we had to remove our bags from the room (this was about 8.45). I could overlook all the other deficiencies of the hotel if they had been accommodating and helpful re us having a shower. They weren;t. Don;t stay here.

Backpackers hostel

Les + : Few steps from the city center
Les - : Dark and noisy room
Situation : Good
The best of this hotel is his position and price. The other side of the coin is that photos on the net are highly better then the reality, hotel is dark, loudy, not clean...

Your worst nightmare

Les + : Nothing. Oh, the beer was cold.
Les - : Lack of cleanliness.
Situation : Seedy, noisy.
The bathroom had running water, leak from beneath the toilet ran out the door. No toilet seat. Sheets had hair on them and black flakes as if droppings from bed bugs. The bars on the window were decorative. Seedy part of Lima. Floor in room stained and soiled. It was supposed to be 2 or 3 stars but it was dismal.

nice enough/cheap place dont expect much.

This hotel needs to be qualified as a cost/value relationship that the rest of the reviews are missing. its a cheap place to spend a couple of nights, yes there is no toilet seat but there are no toilet seats in most places in Lima, yes its located on a not so nice neighborhood well you are in Lima as downtown, yes its a noise street next to some rooms, well yes there is traffic in downtown and Peruvians tend to honk a lot! WiFi only worked in common areas but it was good and fast enough.

Low quality/low budget/bad area

Publié le 2 août 2012 sur Hotels.com
We didn't even stay there after checking out the room and hotel. Not even close to the airport as advertised. Very bad area of town, too. Not bad for one guy on a budget who doesn't mind a cheap hotel, but it is a bit of a dump. One could also rent it by the hour, it's that kind of hotel so we were told.

we did show up to stay at this hotel, but it was too scary to stay we did look at the rooms terrible and the neighborhood was worse!!!! Our cab driver wouldn't even get out to help us. Hotels. com remove them from you list. They said they would pick us up from the airport never showed up!!!!!!

The shower didn't work well, it sprayed to the side and on the floor, and there was not hot water. The toilet did not have a seat. The place didn't feel clean and the sheets on the bed were paper thin. Overall, I regret having stayed at this hotel but I don't know how it compares to anything else in Lima. Try something else, even if it's bad, it won't be much worse than this. It wasn't really cheap when you add the transfer cost on top of the room. Oh and although you can reserve with a credit card, you have to pay with cash at checkout since they can't process credit cards.

Stay Clear

Publié le 3 févr. 2010
We were told there was an English speaking staff; this was incorrect. They offered a shuttle to and from the airport, we were surprise to have to pay for it and on top of that, the shuttle price was 3 times the price of a taxi. The hotel is located in a crime riddled section of Lima. Our room was facing the main street in front of the hotel, from here we were woken to a 3 am police raid, which filled the street. I never felt safe or secure in this hotel and used its free wifi to find another in Mira Flores. If you are a thrill seeker, not traveling with family and speak Spanish this is your place anyone else stay clear.
