TV was a decent size, alongside the room itself. However, it was confusing getting to the room because the signs weren't too clear and we did pay more for pool, sauna, steam room access, but it was too busy.

Hotel was very clean and tidy the staff we’re both friendly and helpful particularly Maya in housekeeping who helped me relocate my wife’s phone charger with no fuss although I’m sure she was busy she was willing to spend a few minutes enquiring at lost property and going to our room to find charger still plugged into socket well done Maya

Just a one night stay. Was great value booking on Expedia. The room was great, our children enjoyed the pool and the buffet breakfast was good value too, but only as we got a good Expedia deal on adding breakfast.

It’s got everything you need and is very modern. Some rooms are a long way from reception, so be aware if you have any mobility considerations.

We stayed four nights total at the Village. After four years of visiting our son in Leeds, we decided to try there as opposed to Weetwood, which we loved! We were thoroughly disappointed with the Village. Unpin check-in we were told that eeven as paying hotel guests we still had to pay an additional £5 per day to park. Then they put us in a room above the spin class where the walls literally shook from the head banging music and screaming from the instructor in microphone from 9am to after 9pm. It was INSANE! We asked to be moved to the annex building which was much better. The other issue was everyday we had to go to front desk to get towels as they only gave us one towel for a double, two person booking. They didn’t have a phone to connect to front desk so we had to personally go and get them ALL FOUR DAYS! That is unacceptable! Would not stay at the Village again.

We have stayed at the Village hotel North in Leeds before. It is a busy hotel with locals using its gym and pool facilities. The check in was quick and the receptionist polite and friendly. We stayed in a basic double room which was clean and tidy. There was a decent sized flat screen TV and the bathroom was clean with large bath sized towels. I do think that the room is due a refurb or decent freshen up. At £80 per night for two it’s sill well priced considering the facilities available.

It was OK - we stayed with 2 children (11b &13g) and had thought we were going to get 1x dohble and 2x single beds but when we arrived it was a double sofa bed. We mentioned it to the receptionist who said we could change but the other rooms were mattresses on the floor! In the end one of the kids slept on the floor with sofa cushions - not ideal! Restaurant service very slow and unwelcoming. Pool times with children are very restrictive and always shared with swimming lessons. For a 4 star hotel they are way off the mark. We will go for the Premier Inn next time.

Pubes & power sockets! Sadly got one not other!
This has to be one of the worst hotel stays I have had in a long time and the first and last time I will stay in a Village hotel! On entering the room it was stupidly hot as the heater had been left on full blast. Not the most sustainable thing to do. There was pubes in the bath I forgot to mention this on check out due to all the other problems. The room was above the gym entrance and an outside space for the gym so very noisy and the windows were far from air or sound tight. There are no power sockets near the bed so you can’t charge your phone easily or keep it by the bed. Reception on check out stated “oh all the rooms are like that” clearly others have complained but nothing done. Food was expensive so didn’t bother and took a walk into the town.

Good hotel, let down only by pool opening times
Quality hotel, comfortable and clean. Only marked down because we paid extra to use the gym and pool and they closed them early and opened them late. This is something they do at the weekend but don’t mention it when you book.

Very comfortable and convenient stay
Very comfortable and convenient stay, but was somewhat miffed to fond parking was £5 a day at a hotel on the outskirts of the town ... hence a dropped star. Silly way to lose a star! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the venue was impressive!

Arrived a little early, but the friendly receptionist gave us a room straight away. Overnight parking charges apply (£5). Parking was previously free, but is now chargeable - so something to bear in mind when booking. However we were there for a memorial service and the hotel was very accommodating by providing free parking to the attendees

This hotel is a little tired and in need of some updating. The bathroom grouting is needing cleaning/renewing and the bedside light in our room had broken off and needed replacing. The room was not properly refreshed with towels and the bed was not made up. This hotel has the potential to be much better.

Hotel busy and friendly. A glass in the room for water would be good. Whilst room was clean on the surface, you could clearly see the rooms are not often deep cleaned. Lots of dust and dirt round the skirting boards and in the corners.

Nice location. Hotel plenty of amenities,bar, food,swimming and gym all reanably priced. Hotel decor is a bit dark and dowdy. Room we stayed in was clean but did smell a bit fusty. Overall would stay again if wanted that area and got the deal we had for this booking. ie big discount and breakfast.
