« Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues with my room, but they were sorted straight away. This is a very basic 'dry' hotel originally built for offshore rig workers so set your expectations accordingly. That said it's about a third of the price of the posh one next door which does have a bar. The airport check-in desks are about 600m away, ish, so a very easy walk. The bed was comfortable and roomy for one, but two might be 'cosy'. Also, surprisingly quiet....

« Little bit of confusion at check in which was quickly and easily sorted out by the staff. Apparently hotels.com and the hotel aren’t compatible when booking so I’d call ahead if you are staying here to cover any issues before you arrive. « The hotel was entirely as described. I stayed for 2 weeks due to hospital stay and it was a comfortable safe place to stay. We had use of the kitchen area and the gardens were pretty even for the winter, I imagine they would be even better in better weather. Staff were friendly and helpful. »

« Had no choice but to book a room on the first floor that was meant for people who need "assistance". Room had zero charm at all and I felt like I was in a hospital especially in the bathroom. « Last minute booking as Hotels.com had double booked me and was stranded after driving 2 hours to get to original booking. Healing Manor is a character building which has all that you need with a restaurant, bar area and nice garden area...i do question the '36 Acre' manicured gardens statement as this is limited to outside the restaurant area unless clambering around the overgrown areas by the pond area is part of this.
