Highly recommended! This hotel is well suited to parents with children of all ages! Our two year old enjoyed playing with all of the toys in the Four Bears Den as well as the games room. The 5pm story time with cookies and milk and the cinema room was always a nice way to end the day. The hotel also has a great indoor pool though it is slightly on the cold side compared to a normal kid's pool, but I don't think it is worth being overly concerned about this. The staff and service is excellent! We made use of the warm milk delivery to our room each night and every member of staff was warm and welcoming and I want to give a special shout-out to Diane who took care of us during breakfast. My family and I would happily stay at Fowey Hall hotel again!

Wonderful stay at Fowey Hall
We had a lovely 2-night stay here with our two children. The hotel is certainly family-friendly, with many little gestures for young ones, such as daily storytime with milk and a biscuit and indoor and outdoor activities. The Four Bears Den is an amazing nursery space filled with happiness that is not possible without the wonderful people who work there. It is also great for adults, with comfortable communal areas, good sized rooms, spa and a great breakfast. We will almost definitely be back!

The staff was excellent and did as much to make our stay enjoyable. However the housekeeping and maintenance of the bedrooms could have been better with broken glass found and dust found in the bathroom and the handle to the door of the bathroom missing one screw.

Great location and the room are spacious. Lots of staff who were all very attentive and helpful. Plenty to do in the hotel with lots of lounge and entertainment spaces. Nice grounds.

Our family trip to Cornwall was made absolutely perfect by our stay at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, the staff's warm welcome made us feel right at home. The room they provided was not only spacious and beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our family. The kids loved the pool, and we appreciated the fitness center for some relaxation time. The on-site restaurant offered a wide range of delicious meals that even our picky eaters enjoyed. Plus, the hotel's central location made it easy to explore all the wonderful attractions Cornwall has to offer. I can't praise this hotel enough for its exceptional service, family-friendly amenities, and prime location. It truly made our family trip memorable, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Cornwall.

We had to change rooms due to a very loud bathroom extractor fan being on 24x7. The staff were excellent in resolving and moved us to a nice suite, however it was a disruption having to move, we did prefer the original room (except for the fan noise), and it isn’t very environmentally friendly having a fan that is constantly on.. otherwise it’s a really nice hotel, all of the staff are very friendly, great location, very very nice

A hotel to enjoy in the beautiful Fowey
This place is incredible. The staff were amazing. Our kids, who are sometimes quite shy around strangers, instantly clicked with the friendly staff at reception and loved chatting to them each day. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury for the parents and fun for the kids. We used the pool which had great changing facilities, a great view and was very quiet. The bedroom was the nicest room we have ever stayed in, with a sea view and beautiful decor. We were greeted each morning by Diane at breakfast who was lovely and really interacted with the kids. She also gave us some tips of where to go each day. The breakfast was Both delicious and plentiful. Both evenings were spent at the hotel restaurant, we intended on going into town, but the food the first night was so good that we didn't bother in the end. The kids loved the play area and we loved drinks in the sun on the patio watching the boats. We will definitely be coming back.

This hotel is amazing and I have stayed there 3 times now, I just never would have booked if I knew about the extensive building work. I see some reviewers have said this work did not affect their stay, it did ours as we were living in hotel room in court yard so had to walk past diggers and workmen all the time. It is noisy and busy with no spa facilities due to the work. Although I love the hotel, Expedia did not mention the building work which I think is unfair. Bet the hotel will be amazing when the work is done.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Welcoming for our dog, doggie bed, bowls, treats all provided as a nice surprise, doggie menu in restaurant:) Highlight foodwise was the breakfast - amazing. We had dinner also, although dogs not allowed in main dining area so eat in bar or outside. Hopefully a very temporary issue is building works; spa and pool closed, tile cutting and clouds of dust even on a Sunday, unsightly building site. Once this is finished hotel will be amazing. To be fair to the hotel the staff did inform us before our stay, but perhaps not to the full extent. Hotels.com had no information about this.

Beautiful property even though during major renovations did not affect the inside. Room was enormous, fantastic shower. Staff were very helpful. I would come back and stay again. The only downside was the evening meal, very tiny for the price which I raised with the Restaurant Manager at breakfast.

What a beautiful location. Was contacted prior to my stay to advise about the ongoing building works/project. Had a great welcome. Was shown to my room. Dog friendly. 50% of staff were rubbish. Poor service. Breakfast was a confusing joke and was told to get toast myself. Restaurant overpriced and wine list was a farce. You expect them to make a profit on the wine but com'on!!! The only good thing was the spa. £ 900 for 3 days i expect something better and that was only with 1 dinner!

Beautiful country house experience
This is a beautiful country house experience with all the elegance and style attached but with the convenience of modern facilities. The veiw and location is outstanding and the staff provide excellent non-pretentious professional service. The bed we had (Violet Room) was very comfortable and both the room and bathroom were very large with the bonus of both a large bath and shower. Couple of small negatives: the bathroom lighting was very dim and the room WiFi was patchy. The breakfasts (which are complimentary) are excellent. Try the waffles. The Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere but possibly a bit pricey for what is served? Certainly deserves one night eating in.

We loved the property, large rooms, lovely breakfasts and we enjoyed the pool. Staff are friendly and pleasing. We would recommend to others and would return. Just a couple little things that may need looking into, the receptionist took us to our room and said that everything we needed to know was in the guest information book which is fine, but breakfast needs to be explained other then the times. The other thing is, perhaps butter already placed on the tables for breakfast would be helpful. Thank you for our stay and (sorry, didn't catch his name) the chap overseeing guests for breakfast was friendly and nothing was a problem for him. Thank you for great service.
