Nice hotel for families. Very well located.
We had a great time in family at Salisbury Green Hotel. Our room was located in the mansion (in the 1st floor as requested) so we had to walk 2 min to go the main building to have the breakfast. Hopefully we didn't have to deal with rain but it can be something a little bit embarrassing. Other detail was the size of the room. We had such a big family room. The linen and mattress were all perfect. They always provide tea and coffee in the room. Just be careful with the electric towel dryer which is very very hot and I seriously burn myself...so avoid with little kids. It might be very dangerous. The breakfast was delicious. They propose a real scottish and tasty breakfast and were able to adapt themselves with the covid restrictions. The staff was also very friendly. I will recommend this place

Très bon hôtel.
Hôtel dans un complexe universitaire. Vous passez un poste de garde pour vous diriger ensuite vers l’hôtel (accès face à vous après la construction ancienne). Excellent personnel à votre écoute, chambre classique mais moderne et propre. Grande salle de bain avec douche à l’italienne. Petit déjeuner continental (buffet) ou écossais (menu) très copieux et très bon! Endroit calme, les lits sont grands, larges et confortables. Le centre se trouve à une bonne demi-heure à pieds, les transports en commun sont nombreux et fonctionnent tardivement. Seul point négatif pour cet hôtel concerne le parking (les places sont très limitées). Un parking privé est existant à proximité mais cher (environ 20€/jour).

Hôtel situé dans un bel environnement. Petit-déjeuner extra. Hôtel calme. Accueil excellent et très professionnel. Propreté pouvant être améliorée. Chambre et SDB petites. Literie un peu molle. La douche n'est délimitée que par un rideau et donc le sol de la SDB est entièrement trempé après avoir pris une douche. Accès facile par bus à partir du centre ville. Accès facile à de la restauration.

Hôtel très agréable. (séjour du 07 au 13/10/2016)
Chambre (Deluxe) très agréable : grande, décoration très sympa, très bien équipée (bouilloire, thé, café, fer à repasser). Petit déjeuner, buffet copieux et varié, full scottish breakfast très bon. Personnel accueillant et serviable. A 15 minutes du centre ville en bus (plusieurs lignes et possible à pied sans problèmes), restauration possible à l'hôtel ( pas testé).

Très bon séjour !
Arrivés par hasard dans cette hôtel pour 3 nuits suite à une réservation chez l'habitant annulée le soir même!! Très bel environnement, au milieu d'une université. Belle vue sur des montagnes. A chaque étage, accès à un petit espace cuisine avec frigo, micro-ondes et bouilloire. Très bon repas le soir ( même pour les sans gluten) au restaurant de l'hôtel et les petits déjeuners sont exceptionnels!! Toasts et muesli sans gluten à la demande! Avec lait soja au lieu du lait de vache! Le seul bémol est la petitesse de la chambre avec une salle de bain petite (propre!) qui ne correspond pas à un 3 étoiles (pas de bac de douche, eau coule à même le sol) donc bas de porte totalement abîmé... Accès à une buanderie dans un bâtiment à côté de l'hôtel partagée avec les étudiants (pas propre ni rangée !), Prix pour machine à laver 2,20 pounds (45min pour un lavage 40°c) et prix pour le sèche linge 1pound (50min). Dans l'ensemble, très satisfait de notre séjour ! Personnel Excellent et très serviable! Bus en face de l'hôtel pour aller en 10 min au centre ville!

L'hôtel est bien situé par rapport à l'arrêt de bus pour aller au centre ville. il y a plusieurs lignes de bus qui desservent le centre. Le personnel est accueillant, le service du petit déjeuner est correct (buffet froid et chaud) de 8:00 à 10:00. La chambre est petite mais ça va, la salle de bain est propre, le lavabo à 2 robinets (pas de mitigeur), ce n'est pas pratique, l'eau chaude est trop chaude et l'eau froide est trop froide. La seule reproche est que notre chambre n'a pas été faite le 2ème jour (nous y restions 3 nuits).

La chambre était très confortable, pas très grande et la salle de bains assez surprenante au début (pas de bac de douche), mais très bon rapport qualité/prix malgré tout. Bonne situation, nous avons pu visiter la ville à pied. Buffet pour le petit déjeuner avec de nombreux "plats". Seul bémol: à notre arrivéeil y avait un problème de places sur le parking (à cause des Commonwealth Games) et nous avons mis assez longtemps à nous garer car le parking de l'hôtel était plein.

Le complexe se trouve en fait dans la cité universitaire "Polock Halls". Il faut tout de même compter 25 à 30 minutes à pied pour se rendre au centre d'Edimbourg. Chambre propres avec un très bon réseau wifi. Cuisine à tous les étages. Il n'est pas possible de réserver de chambre à lits jumeaux, mais sur place, il est possible d'en faire la demande. Petit déjeuner au "resto-u". Parking gratuit sur le campus.

The Scholar staff is amazing and very friendly! I appreciated their approach to helping me when I needed something. I also had dinner at the restaurant and that was great too. The hotel is super clean and walking distance to many nearby locations. The room was nicely spaced and organized. The amenities was very good too! The lounge area was a nice place to sit and catch up on your work or just read. Again, staff is amazing!
