Très bien pour un voyage en groupe! Nous étions 6 et la chambre style dortoir était parfaite! Même si situé très près du métro, cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir, la toilette faisait plus de bruit! Bien situé à proximité du métro, facile pour ce déplacer rapidement en ville!

Mixed Bag: This hotel is adorable and the cleaning staff is exceptional. However, watch for their “benefits” package that sounds like you can opt in, but they automatically “give” it to you—for 50 bucks extra a night. I did not receive any hotel perks listed and in fact, in the three days we were there, we hardly ever saw anyone at the front desk, and calls were not picked up. I felt a little swindled.

There was ants all in my room. I couldn’t leave food out without worry of ants. There was never anyone at the desk for assistance.

We looked into your reservation details, guest text messages and spoke to our Front Desk Agents and overnight emergency team, we did not receive any correspondence in regards to the issues you experienced. Our team thoroughly went through your guest room and did not see any evidence of ants. We did treat the room just in case. Our front desk hours are from 10:00 am to 12:00 am Sunday - Thursday and 10:00 am to 2:00 am Friday and Saturday. Each reservation is texted overnight contact details every night of their stay. Please reach out to our team directly for any additional questions or comments about your stay.

I stayed here when it was Field House Jones back in 2018 and we loved it. This time around though- we were not happy with the stay and will not be back. First-- the building is open but the restaurant and coffee shop are still under renovation so that was a bummer. It really affects the liveliness. That was my first impression. 2nd- with the facility fees I would expect improvements but it was quite the opposite. The peloton bikes are pushed in a corner behind stacked tables. The sand shuffle board is not functioning. There is zero staff from 2am-10:30am which was challenging when there were issues. Next, we DID have to change rooms because the pipes in the exposed ceiling were very loud. They made a grinding noise all night effecting everyone's sleep. In the building you can hear the train but it's a low rumble and didn't bother anyone. When I addressed it the next day the response was "those are pipes and we can't do anything about that". They did provide a new room and the noise was gone in that room upstairs. Parking more than doubled from when it was Field House. Last, and probably the most disruptive of all, young adults/teens were up yelling in the hallway ALL night (and I do mean ALL night). They were consistently loud until 6am. It was horrendous. And with no hotel staff present it goes totally unaddressed. Bottom line-- it IS cheap. It IS close to the L and walkable to Mich Ave and River North area but that's it. Wanted to like it but, couldn't.

Great stay!
We loved the unique set up and the room size for our family of 6. The kitchen and games area was also such a great benefit for us. Not having someone at the front desk in the early morning was a bit unsettling because of people asking to be let in the hotel that did not have a key.

Very Noisy because of the el train
What really turned off about this hotel are hidden fees. They advertised their at $60 per night but with resort fee and property fee it more than doubles the price. In my opinion they have a high deposit fee $125 for really nothing. My room was literally right next to the Brown line train which is very noisy. The had a very tiny desk in an awkward location which made it impossible to get any work done. The staff was kind of rude when questioned them on why they photo copied my id and credit together. If i would have know this first i would have chosen another plan.

Terrible customer service from Rosie
We checked into the hotel, everything went great at first. I let the receptionist on duty know that we had a service dog, so that we would not be charged. After staying there and checking out of the hotel, I noticed a $100 charge on my account. Apparently the maid notified Rosie (the receptionist on duty at the time) that we had a dog in the room. And instead of calling me and asking about the dog, or checking the notes she just charged my account for a pet fee, (from which we are expected since our dog is a service dog). When we returned to speak to her about the charge, she was very rude to us. This ruined our whole experience and I would not be staying at this hotel because of Rosie and how she handled the situation, basically stealing $100 from my account without my permission and without notifying me. Very disappointing

Had a little trouble locating the hotel. From the outside it looked more like a cafe than a hotel and there was nowhere to temporarily park to check in. Once inside it was beautiful. Staff was helpful, all spaces were clean and inviting. Having no desk staff in the morning during normal check out was not displayed well. There was only a business card on the counter. Another patron had been waiting there for awhile when we walked thru around 8am and sat to continue to wait. I realized as we drove out of town no one would be at the desk until 10 and felt awful I had no way to share the information with the other patron.

The property was small, no staff at night, and my card was charged twice and I can’t get ahold of anyone. The front desk guy, Matthew, was very kind and friendly. Everything else was subpar.

Hidden fees.
When we checked into the hotel they charged me with a hidden fee of $81. This was after I already booked though hotel.com. I was not aware of this “other charges.” This was mandatory for me to pay and I was explained it’s their one time fee. Very disappointing! Then when i checked my account they charged $201. No idea why they charged this amount so now I had to call and ask. No one is answering the PHONE! Stay away from this hotel.

When opting to pre-pay, as shown on the hotels.com check out page, the amount is solely for room charges and applicable taxes. There is an additional section that shows the amount that is to be paid at the hotel, this section includes the total of our Daily Guest Benefit Package, Reservation Processing Recovery and incidental hold. The incidental hold of 125 per night is returned to guests' credit card upon checkout and can take up to 7 business days, depending on your bank, to reflect on your statement. A detailed folio has been sent to the email provided with your reservation for your review.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. I'd stay here again. Some things in the room were super dusty, like the table lamp, but otherwise things were clean. The mattresses in my room were very firm.

There is no staff there late at nigjt. One night my key did not work and there was lot a single person there to let me in my room. I had to call a emergency number. Someone didn’t show up for over an hour. Usually no one at the front desk
