The Omni is in a great location. They seem short staffed, but the staff working all were very friendly. The rooms were not very clean, but the bed was very comfortable. For the price paid, I would expect a bit more from a hotel.

My wife and I checked in with our daughter, her husband and their 2 yr old and 12 month old bub. We were early by 2 hours but were told no rooms available which was fine. I'm on holidays from Australia so not wearing a three piece suit. Your reception staff gave us the impression they wished we were somewhere else. Advised we would be put on a list and they would ring when rooms available. No call and on check-in admitted they didn't bother to ring. TV in our living room didn't work properly and I demonstrated same to the porter who advised he would get someone to attend to it. No one came. Another staff member went off to look for umbrellas; never seen again. Now, a week later you still haven't refunded my holding deposit. Couldn't recommend to anyone. PS: booked identical rooms but allocated on two different floors. If rooms aren't ready surely you can allocate same floor? no big deal but these are the things that set you apart in a competitive market. Your staff in the lobby/outside very good.

The suites are great for families. The bellman were especially wonderful - so helpful with getting car seats in and out of cabs, folding strollers, etc. Would definitely come back!

Hotel is wonderful. I wish that they would reinstate a more comprehensible menu in the bar. I also would suggest a full length menu in each of the rooms.

Had a great stay at the Omni, and I will definitely come back in the future. Rooms are suites and are very nicely furnished and kept. Bedding was very comfortable, cleanliness was top notch, and location was perfect for easy access to mag mile! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The only negative for us was that there is no room service and the offerings from the hotel restaurant are very limited. Luckily you are in Chicago with great restaurants ready to deliver!!

Nice decor and cleanliness. The location was great and the staff was great. The only issue was the bed which was not comfortable for my husband. Other than that I thought the Omni was great. Updated bedding perhaps would make it top notch.

The location of the property is fantastic! Everything is within walking distance. The only negative about the property was the size of the room and outside noise. There was lots of construction going on near the hotel and we could hear it until 5pm every day. Also the size of the suite was quite small. We were hoping for a bigger room. Overall, we had a great experience!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, alles Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem und der Ausblick bei uns (24. Stock) war toll! Das einzige, was ich zu bemängeln habe, ist, dass die Zimmerreinigung nicht einmal Staub gewischt hat, was man bei 8 Nächten schon deutlich sieht. Die Flächen im Bad wurden auch nicht geputzt…

Breakfast was wonderful- try the lemon ricotta pancakes! It was extremely loud when from street noise when the windows were open but they are pretty sound proof when closed! A great stay, and wonderful room.

Super convenient to shopping, which was important as this was a mother/daughter trip. Very friendly staff and housekeeping was so nice! Engineering came to fix the temp in my room promptly when called, and bed was super comfy.

I want to give this a higher rating, but there were a number of “minor inconveniences” that insure we won’t stay here again. Good: First, the door staff! They were fast & very friendly. We were there 3 nights & they knew us going in and out of the hotel by day 2. 2. The room was well-laid out. We had a junior suite & other than the bed not actually being a sofa-bed in the traditional sense (it didn’t fold out but removing the back cushions made it comfy for our college-aged child), the room was great. Bathroom was big & had an actual shelf across the back of the tub for shower essentials. What we didn’t love: 1. The restaurant & bar. While it looked pretty from the outside, we were never able to go because of the limited hours. There were a few times we would have liked to go down for a mid-afternoon snack or a drink before we went to dinner & it was closed from 2-5, then again after a evening out, a drink at the bar would have been nice back at the hotel, but it closed at 9 or 10 every night. 2. They were having system issues on a busy Easter weekend & EVERY time we went to our room, we had to go back down to the desk for another round of keys. We expected it after the first night, but then were told the keys would be good through the rest of our stay. They were not & we ended up with 3 sets of keys over 3 nights. The hotel is nice & in a good location, but we will stay somewhere else on future visits with our college student that better meets our needs.
