Dear Casey,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate the feedback. If by repetitive signage, you mean the marijuana and smoking signs, we apologize about any inconveniences but we are very strict in our smoking and noise policies. People have overlooked the signs in the lobby area and the elevators, so we just want to make sure the policies are being followed. Marijuana became legal in the state of Illinois but it is not legal inside this hotel.Again thank you for your review, I hope you have a wonderful day!

We were not aware that there were homeless or illegal immigrants allowed to stay there. They had no consideration for others. Bringing entire families with children in diapers and underwear with no shoes in Chicago with negative temperatures. They were loud, took all the food and messy. I am a paying customer. My wife was extremely uncomfortable. We had to go out to a local diner.

Hello Mr. DotyI know we did not nor have any illegal immigrants, homeless families staying with us, though we never ask our guests about their personal life situations.There were two very nice paying families staying with us for their moms funeral with 5-7 children who came from their rooms to have breakfast in the breakfast room. Some kids had their socks on without shoes on, (kids will be kids) but all children were fully clothed that we saw. They were probably messy as most children are, especially that many at one time. The weather was in the negative temperatures but, I assure you, when they left the hotel those children were dressed warm. I am sorry if they were too loud for you and that your wife felt uncomfortable. Have a great day.

Don’t waist your money
Bed had a sink in it and they gave me a hard time when I mentioned it to them. Heat stopped working in the e room they finally decided to swap me to. Loud neighbors playing music all night.

A pleasant surpise.
The Hotel was suprisingly cleaner than I had expected. The room was comfortable and clean. The only negative on thestay was there was a breakfast incluyded, however the breakfast area was not set up as I departed shortly after 7 a.m. There was coffee available. I would highly recommend staying at the Baymont.

Bathroom light was very light and greenish. Poor light for getting ready. Window was off track and old, not a good seal. Could hear all the traffic since it is located right next to busy Main Street. Breakfast on Christmas am was more limited then other days. No eggs, waffle machine not on. Asked for shaving cream and got dehydrated/ evaporated little packet of no use.

We do apologize for that. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy our complementary breakfast. One of the waffle machines was not working properly so we had to put it out of order. But the other one was still working, we hope you were able to use it. We do hope you could have something from our breakfast that you could enjoy.Again sorry for any inconvenience. I booked the room on this website I get to the hotel they didn't accept my debit card (Varo) which I don't understand why they are a really good bank. I had to pay a deposit in cash for a 100 dollars and then they didn't want to give it back not because I was smoking in the room because one of my husband's cigarettes broke in the room and there was tobacco in the trash, no tissue in the room

Hello, Thank you for your review, we appreciate all the feed back.Unfortunately we do not accept online banking. We only accept major bank credit cards. Regarding the tobacco, as you mentioned to our staff member, your sister was the one who rolled in the room. Marijuana is not allowed in the hotel at all, but, thank you for not smoking in the hotel.Again thank you for your review, have a great day!
