« Our room had a moldy, musty smell....Our sinuses were a mess by morning and we barely got any sleep. The air conditioning didn't work very well and the fridge didn't either. The bathroom counter was all chipped up and the furniture in our suite was dirty and worn. »

Our room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for checking out the area. We would definitely stay here again if in Iowa city area in the future. »

« Guest should not have to pay for parking. This is a nice hotel and it is expensive, having to pay for parking is an insult. »

« Been there several times over the last few months and the ice machines haven't been working the entire time. »

« Some distance from the main road and no neighboor next to my room so it was quiet and I slept well. The room need to be renovated. Everything is dark and smell bad. Althoug smoking is forbidden since many years, the old smoke smell has not been removed. Armchair, A/C, bedspread and curtains are very old and shall be changed. Lighting is insufficient. »

« Magnfique établissement, très Confortable, très bien équipé .., accueil sympathique .... dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre compte tenu de son tarif, de même pour le parking ! Et enfin de gros travaux aux alentours avec grue et route barrée ne nous ont pas été signalés au moment de la réservation et auraient justifiés un rabais... Rooftop agréable mais très bruyant. Néanmoins nuit très agréable ... et établissement bien situé ! »

« I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better. It was a cheap stay but you definitely saw the rust on the bathroom doors, the over flow sink would go all over the toilet paper, some of the lights didn’t work. But it wasn’t a terrible stay. Just could have been...

« the elevator is slow and seems dated. The key card didnt work very well. »

« Rooms are nice, but the walls are thin (especially if you have a connecting room) and the water pressure is terrible. Breakfast is standard, seem to be very dog friendly. Overall a good stay. »

« My flight didn't get in until 8:30 pm. When I called the motel, I was informed they stop doing shuttles at 5 pm. I had to pay for a taxi at $25 to go 4 miles to get from the airport to the motel. Pretty unhappy about the lack of a shuttle when this has never been an issue anywhere else I've stayed near an airport. »
