« loved it for most of it... only small detail... no rooftop pool ;)) the general feel is splendid... very Mad Men... the location is ideal and thanks to the great Concierge service we enjoyed walking distance dining that was really a joy... perhaps the room service could be improved (the breakfast in room is far too expensive...) but the quality of the food in this hotel is very serious! well done to the Chef... even our last minute snack before we took our flight was lovely: try that home made...

Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. The restaurant is superb and the spa is great. »

« Hôtel très bien situé mais nous avons eu plusieurs déconvenues. J'ai réservé une chambre triple mais à notre arrivée il n'y avait qu'un lit double et le canapé ne pouvait pas se déplier. J'ai demandé ou était le lit pour la 3ème personne et on m'a répondu que c'était en supplément. Étonnant pour une réservation pour 3. En insistant lourdement j'ai pu obtenir de ne pas payer le supplément. Ensuite il y a la piscine ou plutôt devrait on l'appeler la baignoire. Sur la photo de l'hôtel elle...

« Perfect walkable spot in the heart of Charleston! Loved the art museum experience within our own hotel, including an artist's ongoing oil painting that we would walk by every day near the lobby. Breakfast isn't super hearty but a muffin and a piece of fruit to get you going for the day. The staff is attentive and we loved the evening cookie delivery! »

« This place was a small operation where the few folks know well the usual guest needs and handle them quite efficiently. The valet service was great. Everyone is friendly. It is a comfortable place with a B&B feel. Our room was not small for being right in the center of the city. Our room and bathroom were clean and always replenished with drinking water. I would say even for not having a pool, this is still better value in town after having seen the top known luxury hotels across from each...
