Il s'agit d'un motel au bord de route .Hormis ce défaut la chambre etait spacieuse , et l'accueil agreable .

The property location is excellent for travelling to Strahan or Cradle Mountain. The room setup is simple but the condition is pretty clean. There are two gas stations which are conveniently located just a few blocks away.

The check in was difficult and delayed due to inexperienced staff. Due to a significant event in the town there was a large noisy congregation that made sleep difficult. An unfortunate alarm in a nearby room continued our discomfort by ringing regularly and repeatedly from 3 am until the early morning. The facilities were clean and adequate but the room itself was small and overpriced. To be fair though noise issues were not as a result of the management but they were kind enough to compensate us for the lack of sleep so we were very grateful for their consideration.

Hello Karen, I would like to apologise for the noise factor on your recent stay with us, we did have close to a full house of mainly workers who leave early 7 days a week. We also had workman here working on our WIFI to give our customers internet access in the Hotel rooms. They were on a very tight timeframe and when I was made aware they were still working at such a late hour I advised for them to cease. With regards to your comment about the gaming room I would ask if you would give me a call at the hotel as I view this comment as a very serious matter and would like to know what you believe the issue to be. The garden view was lovely, but would have liked to be able to pull back the light curtain to enjoy it. The bathroom needed an extractor fan.The bathroom stayed damp for the entire 3 days. Had to put a towel on the floor to prevent slipping over.

Only real option in Zeehan. Heaps better than it used to be. Needs to expand wireless. Only available in dining area not in rooms. And 4G is terrible in the area. Also needs to fix electrics in dining area.

The weather was cold n rainy. We went to Dining Room for tea .. Hubbys meal was a 1 and he told them so and had it refunded... My pizza was 8. Our 2nd night hubby ordered their beef hamburger and gave it an 8 .. I ordered a plate of Roast Veggies for $7 which I couldnt believe .. I got 3 small pieces of cold potatoes and 2 small pieces of cold uncooked pumpkin which I rated 0.... the room heater was excellent as was their electric blankets on the comfortable bed...

Great West Coast hospitality - friendly & helpful. Very quiet. Basic accommodation - very clean. Electric blanket on bed. Meals very good with generous servings; no room service. No internet / wifi access but this reflects the area's lack of resources, not the motel.

Close to everything we wanted to do. Strahan and Queenstown not far away. An easy day drive for the round trip. Excellent meals served in the restaurant and very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Heemskirk Motel is being reclaimed by Nature
The good times for this motel are certainly long gone. We had a delux suite that included kitchen facilities. No cooker and the cupboards (filled with cobwebs) were out of the 60s. There were obvious signs of mould and rotting timbers around the windows. One of the chairs at the "dining table" provided nearly gave way underneath my husband (who is by no means overweight). Fortunately the bed was comfortable.

Okay for the area.
There is not a lot available in this corner of Tasmania, so this hotel is the spot to go when in the Zeehan area. Not flash, but what you need. The only let down was my room had a door that connected with another so I could hear deep male voices talking for hours.

We had a room on the 2nd story. Comfortable room, beautiful shower, amazing meals. Mine workers were staying in the few rooms next door so it was quite noisy until around midnight when they were told to stop.

Room was okay but could do with an overhaul. Breakfast was terrible. Food was pre cooked and kept in food warmer which seemed to be on high heat so was continually cooking making the food almost inedible. We would not stay there again.
