Situation : The location is great. It's right by the highway.
The hotel was modern with nice, big rooms. The only problem was that the cable TV wasn't working well.

Quiet location, staff was great, room was what you'd expect...very nice, not the Waldorf. Will be staying there again.

Les + : Aesthetically pleasing, Small cafe and Starbucks coffee on sight.
Les - : Firmer mattresses. You pay for the Marriott name, but there was nothing special about this hotel or it's staff. You could get the same from a less $$$
Situation : Located in a corporate office park. Very convenient if you're doing business w/ one of those companies. Not near anything else.
I paid for a room w/ king-sized bed but was originally given a room w/ 2 doubles. Had to change rooms. The mattress was much too soft for my liking. Also not given coupons for free breakfast when we checked in, had to ask for them the next day. We had to be out of the hotel by 7 a.m. for a meeting but the free breakfast buffet did not open until 7 a.m. Had to pay for breakfast at McDonald's. Very thin walls - could here everything from the room next door. A hockey team was also staying in the hotel and was VERY loud, congregated in the lobby and wandered the halls w/ open alcohol.

Les + : The room was clean, no issues there. The water pressure was good.
Les - : the staff.
Situation : nothing is by there. Since the bistro wasn't open we could have walked up to a mile she said to get lunch or use this so called "cab" service.
I was visiting a few healthcare clients in this area and this hotel was recommended to me. The reviews weren't bad so thought it would be ok. The staff was horrible. Not sure if we looks like a bunch of city business people but they treated us like we were from mars. I requested a cab and thats something they don't have very much of. This was of course to go get lunch because their bistro wasn't open nor did they know if they would open it for dinner or breakfast the next morning. Per the website it was always open. The "cab" service was more than a little sketch with unmarked, smoking cars from the 80s. The driver charged us $24 to drive 2 miles. Then on the way back we got the owner of the "cab" service who was the rudest person I have ever met. Getting a smoke free vehicle due to an allergy in our group was difficult as well because as he explained out of his 61 fleet of vehicles only 2 are non smoking and he couldn't even believe we asked for this. What was worse was that he knew all about us per the conversation we had with the front desk person at the hotel and the previous driver. It was more than bizarre and creepy. The front desk person that checked me in was very rude as well (other than just acting like we were from another world). I advised her that I needed to pay for the hotel room (booked as pay at hotel through expedia) and she proceed to argue with me and advise this is not how its done and I pre-payed. Horrible experience.

Few and abused amenities. Shower rod auto clamped together, shower head falling out of wall, shower control getting stuck on hottest temperature. No ice, no movies, I could go on.

Les + : Very comfortable and the decor was well done.
Situation : We were at a Hockey Tornament and the Ice Arena wasnear by. We found a nice Pub and The food was good.
We all enjoyed the Meeting area. It was really comfortable and the Big screen TV was A plus.

Les + : The Bistro

Stayed here two nights. Either the guest above us had a herd of elephants, stomping on the floor, or the hotel has very poor soundproofing. Little sleep either night. On the positive side, the two fellows who staffed the Bistro were top notch. Even when totally understaffed during the NFL playoffs, they did their best to serve the guests. Do NOT pay extra for the breakfast. Saturday's breakfast featured ICE COLD scrambled eggs. I'm grateful that no one asked us about our stay. I don't know if I could have been civil.
