Black Bear Lodge Boasts Quiet Setting with Comfortable Living
Black Bear Lodge provided a perfect home-base for our family trip to Glacier National Park. The setting was park-like with a green lawn and treed yard. It provided a great backdrop tor corn-hole tournaments and Wiffle ball games as well as quiet morning times on the front porch. Our crew of 13 had comfortable sleeping arrangements, and the large gathering area of open kitchen and living/dining spaces was perfect for meals, visiting, and family games. The house was very clean with plenty of extra bath linens and bed blankets. The in-house laundry area was an added plus with 7 grandchildren! LuAnn was a knowledgeable and attentive host. Her response to questions and concerns was always quick and thorough. She made the rental process and property access easy. LuAnn worked hard with her cleaning crew to get us an earlier check-in when requested ahead of time. She provided valuable GNP information in our planning as well as stocking the house with current magazines, maps and local tourust information.. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a bouquet of fresh flowers and a tray of candy and assorted snacks-a superhost’s welcoming touch of hospitality! The property’s location is very convenient to the Whitefish community, Glacier International Airport, Kalispell and Glacier National Park.

Amazing
The stay was amazing. Before we arrived the communication was excellent. Traveling with kids we were a little worried but they made it easy with clear instructions, it was quick from entry to internet and leaving was a breeze as there were only a few wrap up expectations. They even provided instructions on park entry passes which kept us able to come and go through Glacier National. We had a fantastic time.

Convenient and Comfortable
We stayed in White Fish /Columbia Falls area for two nights. The house was easy to find and well situated for our needs. We rafted with Glacier Guides and then back to house to ready for the Brash Rodeo in Columbia Falls. White Fish is a charming little town. Our group of 8 fit perfectly in the house -- everyone was comfortable. The rental is well furnished, very clean, comfortable and equipped. We felt at home. The location is situated in a resort type community off a busy road so the only downside is the frequent passing of large trucks using their jake breaks which are VERY loud. This is no fault of our gracious host, LuAnn. We enjoyed this stay very much.

Extraordinarily Welcoming
This home is perfect and absolutely amazing! We chose to do a Christmas gateway this past year, and I was quite apprehension for our families look forward to the Christmas tree, decorations, coziness and family time. This home exceeded all our expectations and quickly put my concerns to rest. The space was abundant for our family gatherings! The welcoming gift baskets placed on the table for our arrival left us in aww, the snacks in the refrigerator after a long day’s travel was a wonderful surprise, the Christmas tree beautifully decorated in the living room and the scenery around us made everything feel so magical. We made so many great memories!l on this vacation and we will definitely be back! This home had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and the communication that hosts provided made our stay even better.

Nice Getaway
Very cozy home with everything you need for a stay. Close enough to Whitefish and Kalispell to enjoy the restaurants and hiking. We brought our dogs and was a great place for them. The yard is beautiful. The owner was very quick to respond when needed so appreciative for the help. We would definitely stay again.

Great open area to play games, tell stories and catch up with family. My granddaughters and my mother were thrilled with the wild turkeys, deer, horses and other animals they got to see right from the house.. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes/utensils we needed to cook/grill. It was a wonderful place for all to be together.

My family stayed here comfortably with 9 adults, a 2 year old and an infant. Beautiful house and property. We enjoyed the deer in the yard, the pond and the fire pit. It’s an easy drive to Glacier National Park and a quick trip to Whitefish for shopping/restaurants.

The Black Bear Lodge was perfect for our family and visit to Glacier National Park. We enjoyed being out in the country. The house was spacious and had everything that we needed. We had a great time in the area.

80th Birthday Celebration
We had a family 80th birthday at the property. It was perfect. The house is immaculate and very well appointed. Very close to town. We enjoyed Glacier National Park, hiking out of Many Glacier, a fly fishing expedition, a pontoon rental out of Bigfork, and dinners out in Whitefish, as well as a night in cooking.

Perfect spot, which we could have stayed longer.
We slept 8 adults very comfortably. The grounds are beautiful and seem remote, but Whitefish is only right down the road. LuAnn replies almost immediately to any questions or concerns. I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again one day. Thanks for the memories.

Great Property, Incredible Host!
Upon arrival everyone in our family group was thrilled with this property. The house was clean, well equipped with kitchen/cooking needs, satellite TV and plenty of towels etc. I can’t think of anything that I would’ve changed about our stay. However, I must emphasize above all of the greatness of the property the host/hostess was incredible to work with! We accidentally left behind a much desired souvenir and the host was kind enough to get it to us. LuAnn was absolutely a wonderful hostess and a huge plus for this vrbo. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Montana with the Family
The cabin was beautiful as well as the property. It was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. We had 11 of us and was plenty of room. The location was perfect between Kalispell, Whitefish, and 30 min. from the park. Only 15 min. from the Airport. I would recommend staying here to anyone who ask. Great Family Vacation!

Beautiful Location
I'm happy to say the property was just as advertised. We were extra happy seeing deer, fox, turkeys, ducks, and others just hanging out on the front lawn. My daughter said it made her feel like a Disney princess. ☺️. The property felt like home and was nicely kept up. The owner was diligent about responding to us and was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great place, close to everything
Just to help the owner, we had a few things we wanted to say that could be added: salt and pepper shaker, more paper towels and toilet paper, especially for a place that sleeps that many people, and the grill was a little difficult to get all 3 burners going but we eventually figured it out. Other than that, a fantastic place to stay, great location, you basically get your own mini pond.

This was our first year in getting a place as a Christmans gift for the entire family for a long weekend. 10 adults, 3 3-12, and one infant. Our stay was amazing, we could not have asked for anything better. The location is central to so many activities. LuAnn was always availabe when we reached out. Great place!
The lodge is beautiful! It can accommodate so many people. It has a great "Homey" feel and its tucked away off the main highway which is nice. There was snow on the ground so we didn't use the fire pit, but I'm sure in the summer it take the whole experience to the next level. The ONLY complaint is that the downstairs got pretty cold at night. The space heaters didn't seem to be putting off any heat even though they were on. Other than that, great place and LuAnn was really great at communicating with me!

Sister's 40th Birthday!
The house was awesome! The pictures are 100% accurate! LuAnn was great in communicating and was super fast to respond when messaging. The house was super clean! Super convenient from the dishes supplied in kitchen (a lot), to the clean folded towels in bathrooms.... Felt like a home🙂. I would highly recommend the stay! I would love to go back! My husband and I were very happy with this property. Its located just minutes south of Whitefish, close to grocery store, other small towns and it was an easy drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park. Beautiful time of year to go.

Perfect for Wedding Party
We wanted to have a place for the small group of our wedding party to be able to stay and hangout the weekend of our wedding. This place was beyond perfect! Everyone had their own room, plenty of space to hang out but not feel crowded, and the location was secluded so we felt like we were in our own little world. The house is gorgeous, had more amenities than we could have ever hoped, and the surrounding views are beautiful. We are already planning a yearly trip back to this property!

Beautiful home surrounded by pine trees. And a lovely pond in the front where wild life would come in for water. More than enough room for our family of 11. There were spiders door stairs. But that was part of the adventure. We were central to all activities . 7 adults and 4 kids.

Thank you for staying with us . I hate spiders and we called and had the house treated immediately. We also are using white vinear and peppermint essential oil to stay on top of them. The exterminator said they were non-poisonious common house spiders but the word spiders was all I needed to hear. EEEEEEEKKKKKK! Please come again!
