« This unit was spotless, tastefully decorated, uncluttered and extremely well stocked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the view was incredible. They really thought of everything in putting this rental together. The property is older but extremely well maintained and in a great location. Walking to local restaurants and shops is easy and there is a grocery store right across the street. There are numerous beaches within walking and driving distance in either direction. « The owner was very responsive and kind Best view being ocean front very comfortable lani to enjoy eating and reading along with whales watching We cook a lot when we travel I was able to do most of my meals with ease. Unit is noisy in bedroom from the street noise and garbage trucks but we have stayed in 3 other units and they too had the noise. Nice TVs location is great very comfortable unit »

« Stayed for 4 days in Kaanapali, chose the Whaler for its close proximity to the village, dining and steps to the pool and beach. The condo felt like home away from home, the kids loved using the boogie boards and swimming with the turtles just downstairs from our unit. Kitchen is well equipped, we made breakfast every morning and ate it on the lanai, the grill area downstairs is super convenient, we dined next door at Monkey pod and Leilani's which are fabulous. We love that we can walk to the beach cabana to get towels and chairs for the day and then walk down to the busier side of Black Rock for happy hour, dinner, whale watching and shopping. The extra touches of beach towels, welcome snacks, and the use of a cooler was a pleasant surprise. The location, amenities, beach access and etc were amazing! Plus the whales, turtles, and dolphins sure out on a show for us. Overall we truly felt the Aloha from the staff and quests and left feeling like Ohana. « We have stayed at this condo resort 2 years ago and came back. It is very nice location on the ocean with great sunsets and a relaxed vibe. They have tennis and pickleball, mini golf, shuffleboard and pools and hot tubs. Parking is included in the resort fee which is reasonable. The room itself was a nice studio condo. It has a full kitchen, fridge, etc. It is larger than a standard hotel room. The room has some wear but overall it is nice. We will definitely be back to stay here again. »

« Beautiful grounds, condo starts to show its age. Stinky air conditioning that has a musty odor. Kitchen poorly equipped with very few items and those that are there are dull knifed and cisors, needs replacement. Units should provide beach equipment. Pool water in cloudy and crowded, not inviting at all.very small condo . Overall we were disappointed. »
