Property is in dire need of an update! Our A/C unit was corroded and dirty, but worked. Bathtub/shower had dirt/hair around the drain. Bathroom sink was clogged from the moment we checked in...had to use the bar sink. No soap or shampoo in the shower dispensers. Pillows were 1/2 the size of a standard pillow and lumpy, and we only had 4 tiny pillows - had to get more from front desk. Room and common areas need to be repainted. Blood on ceiling in 2nd floor hallway. Didn't look like the windows (plus window in hallway looking at pool) have ever been cleaned. Pool area: kids area not open and no water. Dust and dirt hanging from ducts and pipes on ceiling above. Ice machine and area behind machine on 2nd floor was filthy and unsanitary. Will not stay here again. Very disappointed. Expected much more from the Ramada brand. Didn't even stay the 2nd night, even though we couldn't get a refund since we booked thru Expedia.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit waupac. It’s close to a beautiful state park and the chain o lakes. I love the fact the pool room stays open until 12am.

Property dirty and needs a lot of work. Holes in the walls, carpet very dirty and you couldn’t even see out the windows bc they were so dirty.

The window had a bullet hole through it. Then it was covered with plastic with dead bugs in it. The heater roared when it came on. The shower is little larger than the toilet. People (the pigs) had dropped chips and garbage in the hallways that wasn't picked up.

Older property some recent room updates. Nice looking pool area with slides and kid areas that is open late. Room was comfortable but older HVAC unit was a bit noisy. Window seals were also not in good condition, drafty and a bit of noise from nearby highway. Bed was comfortable.

Whole place is run down. Gentleman that checked us in was nice but accent made him a little hard to understand. Room was average at best. No Kleenex in room. Bathroom was so small the door came within 1/2 inch of toilet...had to squeeze between toilet and sink in order to close door. Hair in tub and on floor. Beds were hard and squeaky. Windows need to be replaced... Air leaking in and moisture inside in the morning. Odd dripping noise by the nightstand every 5-10 seconds -- water in the wall?? Right by your ear as you're trying to sleep...very annoying. Refrigerator when cycling was loud -- accentuated by the cabinet it was sitting in. Bathroom fan was so loud in not just our room, but every room. Was woken up at 5am to the floor and walls vibrating from the fan below us (we were on 2nd floor). Woman at counter in morning was rude and didn't seem to want to be there. Never asked how our stay was and had I not asked for my receipt (which she was a bit annoyed with the request) I don't think she would have even acknowledged me as I was dropping off the key cards. Would NOT recommend staying here unless there are no other options available.

Not well kept
I was warned by locals about this proprty being substandard and the warnings were valid. The shower faucet was moldy, the shampoo dispenser filthy, the recliner in the room looked like a goodwill reject. I had never seen half size pillows on a bed before. But the morning desk staff was friendly and nice. The lady that did the breakfast was very nice, hardworking and the food was good. The complimentary drink in the evening was welcomed, believe me. There is a huge disconnect between that experience and the general management and upkeep of the property.

This should be a $80 per night motel
From the very first impression of the weeds growing through the pavement in the parking lot to the gravel landscaping, I knew this place was going to be quite sub-par. I stay in 45+ hotels a year and this one is the worst I've seen. Everything was dated and, while the room had been attempted-remodeled, it was just off. Holes in the wall from prior things being mounted, to basic-everything. Overall, I feel ripped off. I paid over $200 with taxes and this was a <$100 with taxes kind of room.

The property looked uncared for on the outside. The lobby looked like old furniture - not at all welcoming. The carpeted stairwells were dirty and not vacuumed. Elevator wooden handles needed painting. Room was clean, but bathroom sink very slow draining - very bare bones … ironing board and iron hang on the wall, as well as clothes (no closet) - no decor ex: no pictures on the wall. I would not choose to stay here again … not a welcoming get away experience. If there is remodeling going on, perhaps a sign thanking guests for their patience would be appropriate.

This Ramada does not offer food at night but refuses to let us order a pizza and eat at their tables even though there are very few people in the bar area. The hotel is still under going renovations and there are quite a few missing items - hair dryers in some rooms; hook on the bathroom door for hanging items, etc. Some tv remotes were broken.

It was a pretty bad experience to be honest. My wife and two kids were in town for our annual family reunion in Weyauwega. When I booked, I booked a double queen bed room with jacuzzi tub. We arrived at 9:15pm on 9/8. When we checked in, we got put into a standard queen room. I tried to call the front desk, but didn’t get an answer. So I went back to the front desk and told them we got put in the wrong room. The lady at the front desk goes we do have a king/sofa sleeper w/tub arrangement. Initially I was like great, now we are cookin with oil. Well, when we got into the new room, there was an abundance of gnats in the room. We ended up just living with it, but this was one of our worst experiences we’ve had for $140 per night. Please look at the Comfort Inn and Suites. Heard nothing but good things after the fact.

I do apologize but since we dont have double queen rooms with jacuzzi tubs the reservation was sent over for a standard double queen. I was able to verify that somehow the picture from our king jacuzzi tub room was put on the wrong room type and requested it be remedied immediately. We were able to upgrade you to a jacuzzi suite at the lower price. I apologize that you had some knats in the room but we cant fix issues if they are not reported. I hope that in the future you would give us another try. Thank you.

Pleasant Surprise!
The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and seemingly new, as in recently renovated. The AC was a dream!!! I stayed an extra day because the temps outside were in the high 90's at my cottage. The price was wonderful too...

From the outside it's pretty worn and dated. the big surprise is the over-sized gym, tanning rooms (have to get help to use these from the sign) what appears to be a dance room etc. Also oversized pool which was very well attended by some senior citizens etc. There is also a bar and grill but it looks a little deserted and I certainly would not volunteer to see what came out of that kitchen. Also I believe the occupancy was low (based on cars) so they put everyone on the 1st floor unless you ask for other then it's 201 (near the corner).

Recently remodeled inside - done ok but workmanship was questionable. Bed and room overall was comfortable - bathroom way too small when it is difficult to get in the bathroom and try and close the door due to the stool so close to the door. The hotel almost looks abandoned due to the outside lack of landscaping, weeds, etc. understand this is a work in progress however some steps could be taken to make the exterior more inviting - temporary planters with flowers - getting rid of weeds

It was an okay stay. Room was clean but was missing a knob on the AC and bathroom fan cover was gone. Breakfast was standard and no issues, coffee was very tasty. Price seemed high but it was a weekend during the summer in a lake town, so not many other options available. My son used the pool and hot tub with no complaints and gave it a good review.

Old property ... very run down. Looks like they are trying to renovate on a shoe-string budget. Our room had drywall residue on the floor and in the air conditioner. Bathtub/shower had a moldy slime around the drain (got up in the morning and showered at home). Didn't even try the breakfast. Not very many options in Waupaca, so price was really quite high for the quality of the facility/room. Wouldn't stay there again.
