Location is excellent. Across from the front beach. This is where the locals swim and come to buy fresh fish daily right off thoses colorful boats. It is older establishment but because of that the rooms are huge. There seems to be so much room everywhere. This what VN used to be like 40 years ago. I loved the experience and would recomment it especially for highly intellectual folks who can have a deeper appreciation of this place.

Very nice hotel in good location. Excellent staff and very good buffet breakfast. Would stay here again.

Hotel heeft een upgrade nodig. 4 sterren hotel en geen lift. Ontbijt (niet echt degelijk) te nemen in een ander hotel waarschijnlijk van dezelfde groep. Uitzicht van mijn kamer was op een blinde muur op 3 meter afstand, kamer geweigerd. Nieuwe kamer uitzicht op metalen dak en vele airco's. Het hotel was 95% leeg, men had gemakkelijk een upgrade kamer kunnen geven. Ontbijtbon ben ik op de 5 dagen 3 maal zelf moeten gaan aanvragen. s'Nachts wandelt ge het hotel in en uit zonder probleem of controle. Safetybox 2 keer defect, ondermeer platte batterijen.

The Grand Hotel is Great Value...! Clean BIG Comfortable beds..! **What I Did NOT Like: I did not like Expedia Deceitful photos of the rooms...! I selected a "Deluxe Triple Room" as advertised by expedia BUT only to find the bathroom in the deluxe triple room is NOT as expedia advertised it...!! you (expedia) cost me an axtra $40 AUD when I could have selected a "Superior Triple Room" for cheaper. My selection was based on what I thought looked like a better nicer bathroom. Your pictures are misleading & bullshit...!! **Please Note: I LOVE the Grand Hotel & it is Expedia who I am very dissapointed with...!

Lovely old school hotel. Very charming. Excellent value for money. Right across the street from the beach and fabulous sunsets. A great romantic getaway hotel.

Room was clean though appliances are dated. First room after checked in did not have hot water, and was moved to a different room. Room was relatively spacious, facing the ocean but also main street that was crowded and VERY NOISY until 1AM on 12/15/18 night when Vietnam won the soccer match against Malaysia and people flooded the streets, understandably. Breakfast was great with varieties to choose from. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would go back to this hotel again.

This, is a genuinely nice hotel. Has a superb location, the hotel has real history. The rooms are generously proportioned and the staff are absolutely superb.

Old classic
Grand Hotel Vung Tau is a classic grand hotel. If you like a little outdated version of luxury, this is for you. Everything works, rooms are big, the staff does its best although language skills are too limited Breakfast at the neighbourgh hotel was great. For me: good value for money. Will come again for this price.

Save no power for 3 to 4 times on 1 night stay, electricity to twice for 2 days, there is no lift, the food is at hotel 20m ahead. I will definitely reconsider if i want to book again!

Hotel with No passenger Lift
This hotel was over rated, the balcony handrails was rusty and old, poor of maintenance. Check-in is slow, the staff can't find my name. Another important thing, this hotel do not have passenger lift.

Getting old and need to renovate the hotel. Carpet old in the hallway and also breakfast buffet need more variety. Staff at the pool are slow. But still great location.

Quiet and comfortable, close to the bars.
Hotel pool and gym were great. I was upgraded to a suite. Short walks to bars and restaurants. Beach was nothing much.
