En travaux actuellement, pour améliorer l’arrivée sur zone, le propriétaire en profite pour ramener une fibre plus sûre. Un grand merci au propriétaire qui est venu taper à la porte de notre maisonnette vers 23h30 pour nous signaler l’arrivée d’Aurores boréales. Grâce à lui nous avons pu faire de magnifiques photos !

Merveilleux
Une parenthèse enchantée dans un petit cocon au bord de l’eau. Nous avons adoré les quelques jours que nous avons passés à Lofoten Basecamp. Bien conçus. Bien agences. Tout y est. Bien situes. Rien à redire.

Logement difficile à passer en famille, trop petit
Très bien situé mais trop petit, nous étions 1 couple et un enfant de 16 ans. Nous avions pour dormir un lit gigogne et un lit simple. Aucun rangement, rien pour manger à table, rien sur la terrasse.

Une cabine neuve agence avec goût et fonctionnalité . Vue exceptionnelle sur le fjord. Nous avons vu des aurores boréales depuis la cabine. Proximité immédiate pour des randonnées et à 10 min des plages de Vik, Hauckland… Hôte très sympathique et plein de bons conseils. Le sauna que l on est privatiser est la cesure sur le gâteau! Bref c’était parfait!

This place was amazing!!! Ralf the owner was excellent, kept in touch with me leading up to our stay as I had a lot of questions about the location and what there is around. The cabins are clean and beautiful, and the scenery is top notch. There is an awesome hike right off the road. Would absolutely stay there again!! Thank you!!

This place was beautiful. The views all around are breath taking. The cabins were cute, a little small, but big enough for the two of us. We had a lovely time here. Staff was very helpful and responsive.

Great location for exploring Lofoten! Liked that it is a little outside of Leknes so a bit darker for Northern Lights. Proximity to Leknes is nice as lots of sevices there. Very much enjoyed the waterfront views as well as the cabin deck. Did not get to use the sauna. Cabin itself was clean and updated - everything was comfortable. There was a small stovetop which was a nice surprise. Shower was clean and spacious. Also enjoyed the hike right behind the cabin (Offersøykammen) - amazing views on a clear day.

The apartment is clean and it is just a short driving distance away from the eateries and supermarkets at Leknes. It would however be great if both shower gel and shampoo are being provided as well.

Nature at its best!
Lofoton Basecamp was beautiful! Location, sauna and the owners were just lovely. Would definitely stay there again. Great central location as well!

Reasonable but small
Very new cabins, well insulated, and very reasonably priced. It was well documented but it is right by the main road and rooms were very small. Preferred location and more authentic feel of eliassen

Not great
We didn’t like this property. In fact it was our least favorite place to stay in all of Norway. Cabins are not comfortable- stuffy with no real curtains so you bake in the midnight sun. There was no housekeeping. The furniture is super uncomfortable- you get a great terrace with nowhere to sit on it. The sauna was a joke, one night they forgot to turn it on for us. There was no coffee or really anything in the room so you have to drive to get coffee. I’m not sure why they get good reviews- the only good part was being able to leave easily.

Top quality accommodation. Bit surprised that the bedroom slept 3 - one bed being a bunk. It’s just off the main road and I was worried we would hear the road but that was not a problem. Could do with a couple is shelves or drawers for clothes but other than that I can’t fault the accommodation. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A cafe and shop on site would be great as the main town has not many restaurants and is a bit of a drive away if you’ve forgotten something.

This is a great little quite hidden Gem. It’s off the beaten path as most properties in the Lofoten Islands area. So not really close to much. It’s about 10/11 min from DWTN Leknes area. So a few Restaurants and Grocery and Gas options. The owners are super great and the place is near brand new. Maybe less than a year at time of this review in August of 2023. I know they are constantly adding new cabins. While we were there it did get rather hot I would suggest the owners possibly add some fans to the rooms and or portable fan options. But overall. What a lovely place. I can only imagine bow gorgeous this place is during the winter solstice and for northern lights.

We have travelled almost extensively and stayed in different accommodations across the globe; however, we have not come across someone who is as helpful and as thoughtful as Dominica. She is a gem of a host and always addressed our questions and issues with a solution. If anyone decides to stay in this property, please rest assured that Dominica can take care of any issues. I travelled with a friend and our stay was very nice and comfortable. When we had a question it was resolved in the matter of minutes. Very cordial and good service! It is well located so we had access to everything we wanted without a problem. Would stay there again if traveling to The Lofoten!
