Not a good hotel
The overall hotel is terrible. Not clean and rooms are too small ! I wont recommend anyone if they have an alternative. The breakfast was average.

Improvement Needed...
The room which was allotted to us was not at all to up to the standard (Room No 407). Old and uncomfortable Mattress .. The bathroom was also very low standard.. The restaurant staff were not at all courteous. For everything you needed to call out loud. They certainly need to rethink on the Breakfast spread. Overall it was not expected by HHI

V. Nice Hotel and Great Hospitality
It was a pleasure staying in this hotel. Well maintained and efficient staff. As it is in the heart of the city, going to any place was very easy. Would definitely stay here every time we visit Varanasi.

Buena opción para conocer Varanasi
Cuando busque hotel para en dos dias aprovechar al máximo el Ganges y Sarnath, no encontré un buen hotel mejor ubicado que éste. Y, en efecto, no me defraudo. Ofrece un desayuno buffet gratuito. Como desventaja hay que decir que el wifi es de pago.

No hot water. Staff was not very accommodating to your needs or simply request such as we need more towels. Location was in the heart the city. Business center computers do no work

Pathetic cust. handling by backend support staff
the managers who manage the back end pay heed to the people who book their hotel online. For any problem raised by the customer they have a single solution i.e "Sir pls check with hotels.com" and statements by someone from hospitality industry like "Sir only Hotels.com is responsible for this", "our terms and conditions with hotels.com are as follows", etc, etc is the sin that they do by adding insult to the injury of the staff who is already suffering. This review is basis my discussion with this guy called Ashok who apparently is the manager with HHI & sits in Delhi office. My only request to HHI top management is, pls hire competent staff,,,, plsssss

Close to the main area of Kashi and other Mandirs,
The experice wasnt good enough,check in checkout time was very different as compare to other hotels, food is very expensive , its a low grade HHI WITH HIGH FOOD PRICES.ROOMS AND BATHROOMS ARE NOT UPTO THE MARK.

Good location
Good value for money and good location. The service generally was not convincing, but we had the best driver (organised by the hotel) in India. The food in the hotel restaurant was also very good.

Great stay but lowsy neighborhood
The hotel is really great with excelente breakfast and lunch. veru confortable rooms with built-in tubs. The only downsize to it is the location which is not the greatest. But regarding Varanazi it would be difficult to find a nice place in town, would deffinetely stay there again though

他にないので泊まりました。
外資系の新しいホテルが満室で仕方なく使いましたが、やはり相応のものでした。 掃除はきちんとしてくれていますが、なにぶんにも建物自体が古いためどうしても快適とは言い難いです。 朝食付きでしたが、食べたいと思うものがほとんどなく、初日だけ利用して翌日はパスしました。 熱い湯がいつも出るのは救いでした。(蛇口をひねって3分ほど待つ必要がありますが) 一番困ったのは、周りに店はたくさんあるものの、食品を売っている店やレストランがないこと。

Bad location
This is a good hotel but the prices are inflated and the location in is not near anywhere you would want to be in Varanasi. Just outside hotel there are no shops just hundreds of rickshaw drivers who chase you up and down the street looking for business. Rooms were clean and the restaurant was good apart from the service. Its not big enough for the amount of rooms and keep trying to get you to share tables.

Hindoestaans hotel
Hotel en onze kamer waren goed en comfortabel. Zwembad was prima, maar naast het hotel wordt er gebouwd en de bouwvakkers worden afgeleid als jij gebruik maakt van het zwembad. Op enig moment stonden zelfs 5 bouwvakkers foto's te maken van mij in de zon op een ligbed. Ik vond dat een vervelende ervaring. Het personeel besloot terwijl wij gebruik maakten van het zwembad deze grondig te reinigen, waardoor er 5 man personeel de hele tijd aan het werk waren terwijl wij aan het zwemmen waren. Bestel geen airport taxi bij de receptie. Zij vragen het dubbele van het straattarief.

この街の交通システムが脆弱で、かつリスキーなものなので、日本で手配済のパックツアーが確実です。 私のように英語しか出来ない(現地語が出来ない)のに、すべて現地手配する場合、非常にリスクを伴うかコストを伴います。 まず、街中でタクシーを拾うのは困難で、ツクツクや自転車も詐欺が多すぎます。 それらを考慮してのことか、このホテルでは敷地内でのタクシーに乗ることを実質御法度にしています。 そうすると、安全を考慮すればおのずとホテルの車となります。 その費用を参考までに言うと、ホテルー空港 (40〜50分) で、空港-ホテルにかかる費用の四倍以上≒オフシーズンの宿泊費、街中を20〜30分運んでもらうのに、日本のタクシー料金はかかります。 よって、このホテルは、日本ですべて手配されたパックツアーなら、この街のホテル全体レベルから考えてあり得る選択かもしれませんが、そうでなければあえて選択に入れないと思います。

地元では老舗の高級ホテル
旧市街地近くにあり、ゴードリヤーよりリキシャーで15分くらいでした。 リキシャー代は30~50ルピーでした。 地元では、老舗の高級ホテルの位置づけのようで、ホテル内にもバーがありました。 近くにレストランを見つけられず、ホテル内で食事をしました。

If u need silence to sleep, this is not the hotel for u. Varanasi is very noisy with all the horns, but after everyone goes to sleep the dogs starts their shift...

HHI - Good location, ok Hotel !!
We reached the hotel on Valentine's day and has booked hotel for Mr & Mrs. Guess what..we were given a room with 2 separate rooms. Lucky I had taken a confirmation of the booking from the hotel and after providing the evidence, we were then given a room with double bed. What a joke and inconvenience. Bathroom & toilet needed a good scrub as there were moulds. Bedroom required a good dusting. Our bed side lamp had short circuit so the repairman/handyman took away the lamp and left some of the naked wires dangling under the bed. We had to demand that he fix the electrical wires and leave it in a safe condition. Housekeeper was very supportive and helpful and went around performing his duties with a smile. if anyone made a difference, it was the housekeeper !!

Stay Away From this Hotel!!
1. Pushy hotel staff to sell other overpriced services (taxi, tour, etc.). 2. Uninvited calls to sell services/food at all times of the day by staff and restaurant personnel. Some as late as 11:30 pm at night. 3. Did not provide shower curtain when I notified them there was none in the room. Instead they said, " there is no one in the room, you should be fine in regards to privacy." Not customer service oriented. 4. Wanted to charge me again because they said I had not paid when I pre-booked with Expedia. I even gave them the Expedia email confirmation and they got to the point of harrassing me through phone calls. They obviously have very limited experience dealing with online booking. 5. Hotel had 3 credit card machines which did not work. Made me wait more than half hour to tell me they were not working. Unapologetic about the whole situation. Extremely unprofessional, not organized and food is substandard. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be hassled due to incompetence and have your time ruined by constant interruptions and upselling on behalf of the hotel and its untrained staff.

Horrible filthy experience
We were traveling in a group of 12 plus our India guide. We were all booked on the 4th floor. All of our rooms were filthy, had an extra cot in the rooms as though many had been sharing the rooms, the bed linens were a filthy gray, as were the towels. when I tried to shower it had only cold water after 10 minutes of running to warm up. A hotel employee came into the room and said if we waited 10 more minutes we would have warm water. There were bugs crawling on the walls. The floors were filthy as if never cleaned. Even the rest of the hotel was filthy, as if no housekeeping had ever been done. The mattresses were filthy with no mattress covers on them. They agreed to upgrade our group to the 6th floor for the night as it was getting late and our leader agreed. When we awoke in the morning and pulled back the bed covers we found dead as well as crawling live bugs in the executive suite bed with us. In the executive suite even the shower was so slimy from lack of cleaning that it was not safe. Our group stayed the one night in the upgraded rooms because it was late and we were to get up very early the next morning, but we checked out and went to a better hotel for the remainder of our stay. We were horrified at the filth we encountered. From our experience this hotel does not deserve any star rating. Do not take any chances with this place.
