La chambre était propre et confortable. Le service de buanderie est en fait un service de nettoyage fait par l'hôtel et non une laveuse/sécheuse mis à la disposition des clients. L'accès en moto pour la porte principale de l'hôtel est très difficile d'accès. Le coût du stationnement est élevé.

The location and the service were ideal. My third stay there while visiting Vancouver Appreciated the friendly professional service of the driver Wagner and bellman. Aside from lipstick on bath robes, a small tear in the drapes and the small restrooms, everything was great. I would recommend and stay there again. Thanks

I was a bit skeptical when I checked in, the hotel has a style to it that feels old and as if it’s been renovated. HOWEVER! This hotel completely won me over for a few reasons. - Cleanliness: The rooms and all areas of the hotel were VERY clean, not a hair out of place. I was very impressed. - Food: Why was the breakfast here so good? No clue but the food didn’t let me down not once. Unfortunately we weren’t able to visit the rooftop because we failed to make reservations but based on the reviews online and how busy it was on the weekends, I have to assume the food and drinks were amazing there as well. - Service: I left this one last but it’s by far what made the hotel so impressive. I arrived extremely early and they checked me in an hour and a half early. They gave me places to explore throughout Vancouver and all around everyone was so friendly. The bellhop was such a sweet older gentleman who genuinely seemed to enjoy his work. By far the best amenity at this hotel which would have me returning is the shuttle service. They have a Tesla car that will drive you anywhere in Vancouver for FREE. We saved so much money on taxis this way and they were happy to take us every time. Genuinely impressed with this hotel, I would most definitely return. Thank you!

There was a Rooftop Lounge/Bar that everyone lined up to visit & enjoy the vibe, atmosphere, good drinks & eats!!! Sorry we missed it this visit…next visit for sure!!! Property-condo living style! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Staff very welcoming & made checking in & the visit to Vancouver very pleasurable-wealth of knowledge of Vancouver do’s & dont’s in various languages…front the concierge staff, parking Valets (Wagner & his guys are informative, helpful and hard working with the property shuttle service with a smile & parking cars for hotel guests & Rooftop guests), security, cleaner/house keeping & cooks. Our short stay & early morning departure for the ferry didn’t allow us the wonderful buffet breakfast they offer. :( Future visit definitely! WE WILL BE RETURNING & STAYING here when we visit Vancouver again…home away from home! Recommended!!!! Regards, Arlene, Alex & Bryce

This property was lovely. We got off our cruise and went to the hotel hoping to just drop our bags off instead they had our room ready for us at 10am which was fantastic as we were able to settle straight in. An added bonus was finding a fresh market within walking distance for all our food and drink needs.

The staff. The room was clean except for an oddly placed handprint in the carpet that was red……we weren’t too worried about it as it must’ve been makeup. Gave us a chuckle. The staff apologized fiercely in the morning. During or stay however there was nothing but smiling faces and what seem to be good communication between the staff. There was a feeling calm when you walk in. Nothing like the smell and feel off nice hotel sheets with the faint smell of bleach. Love it.

My teens and I stayed for three nights for a downtown Vancouver holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room had a bit of a view of the ocean and was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very informative and helpful.

The location was within every area I needed to experience. Service was exceptional. Staff extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I enjoyed the service of the courtesy Tesla afforded me. Staff assisted me with emails and tickets for excursions. Would highly recommended the rooftop lounge, excellent atmosphere and the food and drinks were phenomenal. The GM was always very friendly and respectful. Assured that everything was to my satisfaction.

The hotel was an excellent location for both walking and public transportation. We went to several key sites and restaurants. The check in was excellent and they stored our bags most of the day since the room wasn't ready till 3. The breakfast is basically a restaurant; the breakfast voucher entitles you to one item for drink and one food item....the waffles were awesome and the fruit yogurt excellent. The room was clean and had everything needed. Check out was just dropping the key and having the staff get us a cab.

This is one of the lesser priced boutique hotels in the city near Granville Island. The staff was so accommodating the entire two days we stayed prior to our cruise. We arrived early, and they were very happy to store our luggage for us until our room was ready at 3:00, but we were extremely tired from traveling, so they arranged for us to have our room ready before noon. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The rooftop bar was great and they offered wonderful finger food options. We walked only two blocks to the waterfront to access the water taxi that took us to Granville island where there is a terrific market place with food, flowers, gift items, etc. The hotel provided us with a shuttle to Canada place where the cruise ships are. We will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel!

Not sure how this hotel got an 8/10 rating. Anyone accustomed to a reasonable North American living standard will be disappointed with The Met. Given that I got the room for such a reasonable rate, I should have known the quality would not be there. It would be unreasonable to pay the full rate for this place.
