Staff could do with customer training. The quarrelled and used abusive language all throughout the hotel. If the hotel is for a brief stay, then by all means use it. Its definitely not for a family vacation.

I have stayed here 3 different times using expedia. The prices does not match the room. 2/3 times there were no microwave or fridge in the room. 1/3 times no front desk staff to check in or out. There will be parties on the compound and will be loud in your room. 1/3 time room window will not lock. 1/3 times food shop was available on compound. All times you will not know the size of your room based on Expedia photos. Price adjustment needed based on room quality. However Gym on compound. Grounds keeper is friendly and there mostly all day. No refrigerator in room to store food. No coffee machine. No microwave. You will be booking just a room. For me that’s exactly what I wanted and the gym 24hr. Prices need adjustment. 3 Stars.

I booked and stayed twice through Expedia. However Expedia does not have an accurate listing of this place. The first time I paid over $100US more than the second, but my room was a tiny box the first time. Second time I paid less and the room was bigger with a microwave and fridge. About to book a third time and not even sure what room to pick. But this time I have the staff info to call right after I book to make sure I get a decent room. On my first trip I arrived to no front desk at 10pm and had to sit outside with my suitcases for about 45min-1hr, until compound security was able to reach hotel staff to check me in. On my second visit front desk messaged me the day before my trip to confirm my arrival time. Also there is no food service in the hotel! There is a shop outside but not consistent with hours. Overall staff is friendly and helpful as long as they are there. I still loved it because the gym is on the premises but you have to pay. Still liked being able to walk to the gym.

It is the perfect location to stay if you have a function at the Centre of Excellence. Proximity to transportation and everything else is also an asset

Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Facilities are run down, front desk is rarely staffed. Profile on site is dated, the photos are old. There is no breakfast available and there is no taxi service readily available.

The rooms were pretty clean and smelled good as you opened the door. The a.c didn't work well so the room was pretty hot at times. The ONLY time i saw A staff member was when we were checking in, and had a long wait before she came. The next day, no staff in site. We waited a while hr in the lobby till someone showed up...and checking out, there was no again.....overall it was ok for what it was...

i rarely got assistance about access to food and transport. Only one lady was helpful to get me transported once. The taxi service man was never available

Good relaxing location. There need be some general attention to basic hotel house keeping, especially to accommodate guests travelling from overseas eg, teas and coffee in room, a kettle or and microwave, a table, and chair as for a couple. The mirror in bathroom missing, no soap or shampoo holder, no breakfast facilities. Otherwise the front desk staff was very helpful.

I love the location and i felt safe on the property. Accommodations were standard and could be improved by having warmer water, coffee in the morning for guest, adequate vending machines. Housekeeping did not clean pur room at all in the 5 days we were there.

Staff was helpful. The sheets pillows and comforter was old and needs replacing. There was a fet one night which i was not warnrd about. The boxes were right behind my room and i the music went on till 5am. I could not sleep or even look at tv for the music was so loud in my room. Had a headache all the next day.

Extremely Disappointing
I was extremely disappointing in the hotel, first of all the photos that was advertised and the actual was two totally different ( false advertising ) The hotel is in need for a major renovation, the hotel service well lets say for a business traveler I didn't expect to go to a separate room to iron my clothes, lots of soap in the room but thats it. No parking available for the hotel guest in the evening lots of other vehicles parked to use the community pool. The only positive is one of the male front desk staff tried to be helpful as possible.

Kind staff and nice facilities overall. My only point of concern was safety outside the Centre of Excellence (CoE) that contains Cattleya. CoE is gated and has a guard, so it feels secure, but Tunapuna is not safe. Otherwise, very nice hotel.
