« Acajou offered exactly what my wife and I needed for a short staycation. A few minutes walk to the beach which walks more of having your own private getaway. The food was home cooked and delicious. Very friendly and courteous staff who were more than accommodating. We had the ability to see nesting turtles from our hut! Will be rebooking and recommending. Thank you Acajou! »

« Room was okay.. Clean, although it could have used some fresh psint. Nice pool. Staff overall not smily and mostly unhelpful, especially the ones at breakfast. Staff at front desk not even able to ptovide a decent city map or information about transportation. Mostly behaved like they did not care and that clents were bothering them. Hotel location is good, close to the Queen Savannah Park, the Emperor Valley Zoo( small but very very nice!!) , the botanical gardens and the old English...

« This property is closed. They took our reservation via Expedia but when we showed up we found it under construction. Added stress to an otherwise wonderful trip to Trinidad. »

« Transportation (location up twisty dangerous broken narrrow mountain Rd, was a challenge). No housecleaning, dirty; Noise of screaming children (including those of the caretakers) allowed ‘till at least midnight in echoing building (on first night); poor food; inconsistent service; little parking; no record of our online reservation; bar of soap only; had to ask for clean towels and sheets. No restaurants on the mountain. »
