Quiet settingPublié le 25 oct. 2013 sur Hotels.com
The hotel was apparently converted from a former monastery, but the rooms now are ceratinly not spartan. Very comfortable rooms in a very beautiful and quiet surrounding! The views of the mountains from there are excellent and wonderful for evening walks. For the more adventurous, there are also treks you can take into the forest reserve. But becasue it is quite way off, you will probably need your own transport to get there. Staff are friendly and helpful - even help near midnight to book tickets for us to visit the Ahlambra the next day by phone. Overall, an excellent choice

Peaceful & relaxingPublié le 12 oct. 2013 sur Hotels.com
This was our second stay at this hotel which I consider to be almost perfect. My only criticism is that the older members of staff seem to be somewhat 'set in their ways' and laxadasical, luckily the younger staff members are helpful, pleasant and enthusiastic which tends to make up for their failings.

Unique hotelPublié le 21 sept. 2013 sur Hotels.com
The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Sierra Espuna and local towns and villages. We stayed in a spacious room on the first floor with a balcony and a wonderful view of the mountain scenery. The food in the restaurant and in the bar was excellent and the menu del dia was a terrific bargain! I would certainly want to stay there again as soon as the opportunity arose. Overall an excellent and unique experience.

Extremely surprised to see an inexpensive high-quality hotel in a very interesting area of southern Spain. Highly recommended.

wowee fabulous locationPublié le 4 oct. 2011 sur Hotels.com
This hotel is up in the hills above totana so if you are looking for a busy location this isnt for you but if you want a gorgeous hotel in the peace and quiet this is ideal. We only stayed one night as we werent sure if it would suit us but wish we could have stayed longer. We ate in the restaurant, went for the set menu and were both slightly disappointed with the food but it wasnt expensive. You could also eat outside on the terrace or the cafe which served tapas and sandwiches. The breakfast in the morning is in the cafe they will cook you anything you want but there was also all the normal fruit, toast, cereal etc, we sat outside on the terrace and ate ours and it was perfect. Room was great, only a shower in the bathroom.

Nice hotel for getaway and a romantic stayPublié le 23 sept. 2010
We traveled by car from Valencia airport to Totana. The hotel location is difficult to find, we had to ask many people for the location though we were using the GPS. You have to drive past the town and into the mountains to get there,it takes around 20 minutes from the Totana town to get to the hotel. There were no signs on the road for it and even when we were at the round about opposite to the hotel it was difficult to find the road that takes you to it. when we arrived, the hotel location was fantastic , quite and surronded by green mountains. The reception was good , when we asked for a change of room she did that for us. The toilet was clean, the room bit small , they had Wifi enternet free. The breakfast was basic but good quality things. we walked around the hotel , very nice views and good for relaxation. I recommend it for couples who want to spend some quite time away from the usual city hotels.

Lots of character and great settingPublié le 27 oct. 2013
Les + : Great setting
Les - : Better signposting to the hotel
Situation : We were only passing through so it was a brief glimpse of the area but there is plenty to see roundabout and it is very popular with ramblers
The hotel is not particularly close to Totana as it is 7 km away and very difficult to find but worth it for the setting and views. It has retained a lot of the character of the old monastery with a fascinating chapel still attached. The room was lovely and tastefully furnished with good bathroom facilities. There were very few guests staying so the restaurant was nearly empty and all our first choices from the menu were not available. The food was reasonably priced but fairly mediocre. Breakfast was better with a good choice. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to return
