It was nice to be able to use the facilities, clean the room, have breakfast with a choice of Italian and Japanese traditional restaurants, and provide friendly service. The walk in the beautiful traditional Japanese garden was especially wonderful.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Incredible service. Room had a lovely view. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the bed linen (a bit rough) and mattresses (a bit too hard). But was a truly wonderful place to stay.

Excellent property - room and view. Park nearby and River are nice. Too bad gate to river is closed. Pool and things extra charge is unusual for such a nice hotel. Price of hotel reflects niceness. Restaurants are a bit crazy expensive though. 1800 Yen for a Coke is crazy.

Hotel Chinzanso's service was absolutely incredible! The concierge in particular was very helpful in helping us organize some activities and secure dinner reservation both on and off the property during our stay there. The huge differentiator was their garden which is very zen and peaceful to take strolls in day and night. In the evenings, they do a light and mist show which truely makes this feel magical. I certainly will be back!

Great hotel and super high end. Staff was very polite and extremely helpful. I had the garden facing view in a suite and it was lovely. They provide L’occitane products inside the rooms as well as very nice pajamas every night.
