« Outside doesn’t really reflect the inside which was very nice. We tried to ice fish in the bay with only 1 small perch which we put on a tip up for a few hours with no success. Hit some local bars in the area, the Minnow has excellent service and a 8 oz cod that was what you come up north for. Tim the bar tender was a great guy and even bought us a round later on when he was on the other side of the bar when his shift was done. Highly recommend this place. « The cabin was a beautiful house set in the woods. We had plenty of comfortable space for the entire family of 12, which included children from 1 to 7. The beautiful wood plank stairway was a safety concern for the young children and the stairs high sheen was a bit slippery. This home is perfect for an adult get together and is a peaceful get away. »

« It was what we expected, a fun little cabin, cute but not fancy, to stay in with our family of 4 for a couple of days. We enjoyed the lake for boating (used the canoe and brought 2 kayaks). We considered renting the pontoon but the weather was not cooperative for a day outing. There is a lot of algae in the lake so we did not swim at all. The arrangement of the cabin is efficient and has two sitting areas with views toward the lake through the woods. »
