Very good business trip
Very well placed, close to the Great Synagogue, easy to reach bus stations, Dizengoff center and Shouk HaCarmel. It's a quiet place and the people of the hotel are really nice.

Idéal
Un hôtel très bien placé dans Tel Aviv près du marché et de la plage. Accueil attentionné avec vin et gâteaux. Pas de personnel de réception mais cela se fait facilement avec une clé à notre nom Jolie chambre confortable. Nous n’avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car départ tôt pour l’aéroport

The personel was pretty nice and kind but the morning a lot of noise cause bad insonorisation from the street and the air conditioner who foes not work

Mauvaise expérience....
Tout d'abord, la chambre fournie par rapport à la photo était minuscule. J'ai bénéficié d'une promo et il semblerait que cela ait donné le droit à l'hôtel de me déclasser par rapport à ce qui avait été réservé. Le quartier est très central, mais c'est la seule qualité de cet hôtel. Il m'a été facturé le fait que des amis viennent me dire bonjour dans ma chambre! Je ne savais pas que cela était interdit. Et donc si on vient vous voir le soir ou en début de journée, c'est comme si une autre personne avait dormi dans la chambre. On m'a même dit 'nous avons des preuves avec les caméras de surveillance". Si cela était interdit pourquoi ne pas l'avoir signalé dès le premier jour.... lorsqu'au départ j'ai refusé cette surfacturation , la personne de l'accueil m'a menacée en indiquant qu'elle possédait la photocopie de mon passeport...ça en dit long sur le niveau du service... D'autre part, des travaux sont en cours sur l'immeuble collé à l'hôtel. Le ménage n'a pas été fait deux jours consécutifs. Ce n'est pas mon premier séjour à Tel Aviv et je suis choquée du niveau au ras des paquerette de cet hôtel, loin de faire honneur à la ville

sorry for inconvenient guest can bring friend to their room for a reasonable time... not for the whole day or night . if you wish to party with your friends and make noise you can do that but not at the hotel ! we are hosting lot of guests and their quiet is very importent for us. if your frinds staying at your room for a long period of time we mite charge your room for that. regarding the construction. right after thay finishing their work we are cleaning right away , day by day construction shoulde be over in about 2 weeks ... kind regards.

Small and untidy room that smells really bad
The hotel staff was ok but it's the only positive aspect of our stay in this place. The room was cleaned only on the surface and one could see lots of dust under the bed and in the corners. It was also very humid so the smell was terrible all the time. We were really disappointed. This hotel is more like a hostel but expensive hostel.

Sympathique hôtel, proche du bord de mer
Un bon pied à terre pour les couples surtout. L'hôtel est propre et bien situé. La chambre en elle-même n'est pas folichonne, mais bon. C'est fonctionnel !

Chambre aveugle
Si l'on privilégie un service personnalisé et l'emplacement, cet hotel est parfait. Mais 2 gros inconvénients: chambre minuscule ( une seule table de nuit , faute de place ) et aveugle( les 2 petites fenêtres au rez de chaussée donnent sur la ruelle menant à la réception, et la vue est un mur distant d'1mètre environ. Ce qui fait que , pendant notre séjour de 4 jours, nous n'avons pas pu ouvrir les rideaux , ni, par conséquent, apercevoir le ciel

L'hôtel est situé près des restaurants des bus et de la plage. Le personnel se plie en quatre pour la clientèle c'est leur priorité . Nous avons passer 3 semaines dans l'hôtel nous avons été très satisfait nous retournerons avec plaisir dans cette Hotel .bravo a tout le personnel,je ne veux pas citer de nom pour n'oublier personne

Customer service was above and beyond! They don't have an elevator so they helped with our luggage to the 3rd floor. Conveniently located in downtown and very close to the beach and restaurants. Comfortable room with high ceiling.

Comfortable and convenient
Tel Aviv is a big city and it’s impossible to be centrally located to everything. We were very happy with the location. It was an easy walk to the market and to the beach. Check-in was easy, the room was comfortable and the hotel arranged a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay, which was very helpful Just a quick note, there is no elevator so you might have to walk the stairs to your room Compared to many of the other hotels that we looked at in Tel Aviv I thought the accommodation was very reasonably priced

I booked a room that I would have payed at the arrival but they took the money from my credit card without my knowledge. Then the room was really small and not very clean. The bed was very hard. The Hotel is old and need refreshment. But the location is good and the staff were nice. We won’t stay there anymore.

Nice hotel with promise
Montefiore 16 definitely has some of the looks of a nice hotel with a less pricey tag than some of the other bigger hotels in Tel Aviv. The rooms are all very well decorated and, overall, I had a very nice stay and would stay here again. There are some things, however, that would make the stay better for me (and possibly other travelers). A few things that could be improved are: - While there is a coffee machine and sugar, I could not find any milk in the 2 separate rooms I stayed in - As others have said in reviews, check-in is only available during a certain time which isn't crystal clear when making the booking. While they are happy to give you a key code to enter the building to retrieve your key, it would be nice to have a welcome email before your stay to tell you this information rather than searching through the reviews - There are bottles in the fridge, but there is no bottle opener - Some attention to detail in the room would make it much better - such as cleaning the air vents (they were very dusty), cleaning the rain shower head, and ensuring that floorboards aren't loose or uneven.

Perfect location!
Easy to check-in and out, location perfect and very nice host. Room with balcony but no time to sit there. Nice with coffe-bar at the entrance. If you are sensitive for noise it might impact you. We strongly recommend this place!

I join the group of people who wrote about thin walls. I'm normally a good sleeper, but I was awaken every time when a person in next room came in late and used a key, took a shower, and when somebody was leaving early in the morning. The room does need some repairs on the ceiling. Though fixtures are news.

Just want to say there was no wastepaper basket in the room so I had to throw my rubbish (and I had a lot) on the floor (room 15) which I found distressing. I wouldn't do it in my own home and was not happy to do it there. They lent me an umbrella for 3 days which I appreciated

November weekend in Tel Aviv
Neat hotel in a cosy neighborhood in Tel Aviv. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants near by. Can’t complain about anything.
