Proche du centre ville, Vue sur le sunset et les montagnes, grand parking. Chambre confortable mais attention car on entend la chambre voisine (une seule porte sépare les 2 chambres)

A must
Impressive place with studio and bungalows of high quality. It seems there is some confusion on the advertisments as the studio don't have a kitchenette, only the bungalows ( more expensive) have it but on our demand of a kitchenette, we have been upgraded without problems... Nice welcome at the reception even if they seem afraid of your breaking or damaging their nice bungalows. Very near to Taupo with a nice view on the town and the lake in the far with Tongariro in the far far... Nice park also. A must stay....

j'y ai loué un studio, en couple, c'est sympa, il y a juste un petit problème d'isolation phonique avec l'appartement voisin ! c'est dommage ; pour le reste rien à dire tout est OK y compris l'accueil.

Avec les quelques photos trouvées sur internet nous pensions arriver sur une petite zone avec bungalows face à la mer. Un peu déçus d'avoir cru cela… c'est un camping un point c'est tout.

Un maison élégante typiquement british dans un cadre de verdure exceptionnel! piscine et court de tennis à disposition. etat impeccable. On ne se sent pas dans un hotel mais chez soi dans son cottage. A recommander

The property was great but it was just too big. When I initially booked it, it was for two people but could have fit 4 with the amount of beds we had access to. The light in the bathroom also didn't work - only the heat switch and we had trouble logging onto the wifi but was unsuccessful. Would definitely stay again though but something not so big that's all.

We stayed in a King suite with separate bed/bathroom/kitchen/dining & lounge. The place is a bit below expectations for $259NZD/night. In need of repair eg damaged ceiling, smoke alarm bracket but no smoke alarm, shower rose could not be moved and put water onto the floor & window sill, wooden paneling worn in places, shower bath floor patched up with tape (presumably to cover a crack). Lighting a bit dim. TV (less than 32") was pretty tiny in the nice large lounge. Only enough cutlery and plates for one meal for 2 people - but 4 chairs around the dining table. No rubbish bin in kitchen, no dishwashing rack, bathroom fan too weak and intermittently worked. Wifi did not work the first night and we gave up trying. The signal was strong once a repeater was put in but something in the back end was not working properly - could not get an IP address allocated - maybe not a big enough DHCP range? The very nice lady at reception tried to be really helpful but couldn't really fix it. This was a problem since 2 Degrees mobile network was weak. Wifi only worked when we tried on the second night (our last night). When it was working it worked well enough. Had AC in the lounge. Bedroom could have done with at least a fan since it became a bit warm in there. King bed (2 singles together) had a lump in the middle where they joined. For our activities, the location was good - better than in town. Check in process was easy (they left an envelope out).

The room smelt musty and unclean. The cups were dirty and the TV was covered in fingerprints. The bathroom mirror was dirty and the worst is to come as our room had an interconnectable door where we could hear everything that was being said - def won’t be back! The receptionist was very good.

Tired properties. Convenient location. Not impressed with the black mold in the bathroom. Non existent customer service. Just got given an envelope at reception with no introduction or instructions for the site. Not exactly value for money but was lacking choice.

This is an older facility, but was very spacious clean and quiet. You do have to drive to go to any restaurant or shopping.

The villas hotel owned were in need off roof clean ,a wash ,tidy up inside . Now here its is im pissed off with your booking .com I gave my details bank card to hold motel , bang my card was used same days as booking on Alliexpress 5 times , your comoany sas the only place i used it , i dont have Alliexpress account and had no emailsfrom them. I have paid for parcels im not getting even . I told Howie about this but he said all honest people, so it was on a deaf ear and that was it poor. So i had told my bank to look into this . We also have a programe FAiR GO that you were on that programe last nite for bookings that there was no resort bad . So i will give you 24 hours to refund $160.00 ingst for my time and parcels or i will go to fair go and facebook . Dishonest trust i will never trust your booking .com I have limtied income to be able to pay this so your help please

It was not made clear that there was an adjoining door between our room and the rest of the suite. When the guests who were staying in the rest of the suite arrived it was very noisy. As if they were in the same room. They we’re drinking and arguing till around midnight then all occupants coughed all night. Obviously unwell and most likely with COVID. It was a terrible environment for me daughter. I wouldn’t have booked if I knew it was not a stand alone room.

The 1-brm was very spacious and standalone. Very private and sunny. Well equipped although a bit dated decor. Arrival was a bit confusing as road outside is being rebuilt and there was a temporary entrance. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. For the price I paid it was good value.

It would have been nice if you had mentioned on the site when I booked, that the property was not functioning as a proper hotel and that the units were rented out as peoples homes…. Otherwise I would have never booked the accommodation. It was not what I expected

Confusion over which unit we were meant to be in as adjorning room had door open. Owner did come & help us reshift into smaller unit. Only 1 cup? Batteries flat on tv remote. Unit not quite what we expected but did the job as only needed accomodation for the night.

For the price it was good value for an overnight sleep over, I can see, place had better days as there was construction around the property, with bear minimum operations running. Access to prop was not clearly marked from road construction site entrance. We may come back if and when this property comes back to life…

Love the feel of the place. The little cottages are unique and tastefully presented. A little sound proofing would be good when renting half a cottage and there are people staying in the other half.
