Dear Valued Guest As General Manager I take all reviews very seriously and especially the poor reviews. All guests should have been made aware of not having any Housekeeping Service for guests staying over. With staffing shortages plus 4 housekeepers out with Covid made it very difficult to maintain 122 rooms on a daily basis. Please explain to me why the Poor Management. We provide extra linen at the Front Desk if needed. It looks like everything else was fine except for the no housekeeping service. Or mission is to provide Excellent Customer Service along with High Quality Standards to all hotel guests and apologize that we failed to have met your expectations. There is what looked like a lot of crews who live here on a long term basis. No smoking in breezeways yet there they were.. as well as a smoking area in a hall corridor. Noting in the area besides an IHOP. The gym equipment, a single treadmill, an elliptical machine and some weights... The elliptical didn't work and the treadmill was in need of work.The owner was there helping himself to breakfast with the guests, which is just odd and wrong. great to sleep overnight, but I would not stay longer. Rooms were dirty. You need to scour just a little harder in the bathrooms.

Dear JulieAs General Manager I take all reviews very seriously and address them carefully. As for the room being dirty I will find out what room you were in and address it with the Head Housekeeper and I do apologize for that. The crews that are staying are here are working on the roads in the immediate area. They do not live here and most of them check in either Sundays or Mondays and leave on Fridays unless they have to work the weekend. As for the smoking, the breezeways are designated smoking areas for the smokers since all rooms are non smoking. I was not aware of the fitness equipment not working and will have it checked out but I have seen other guests using the machine as well. As for the breakfast, the owners are not at the hotel and me being the General Manager i do not eat with the guests but will talk to them to find out how there stay is. Also if another Manager has breakfast who puts in many hours I find nothing wrong with it and they also talk to guests about their stay. Our intent is to provide Excellent Customer Service along with High Quality Standards to all hotel guests and apologize that we failed to have met your expectations. I am curious when you noticed this did you have a chance to contact the Front Desk so we could have moved you to another room. Not to make any excuses but being an outside entrance hotel being surrounded by many trees, bushes, retention pond, the river, and the climate has made a significant in insects. I have spoken to Pest Control recently and was informed that many merchants along with residential homes are having the same issue. As a traveler myself I understand your frustration but hope everything was satisfactory besides the bugs. Prima motel, zeker niet zo slecht als alle reviews doen vermoeden. Ook de buurt is helemaal niet slecht, maar het is allemaal gedateerd en versleten, en daarom is de prijs wat aan de hoge kant (boven de 80$ per nacht) Ontbijt was prima, personeel was erg vriendelijk. Bedden lagen prima kamer was ruim met een koelkast en goed werkende airco.

The Staff was extremely nice and friendly! Very helpful. Rooms (at least ours) could use some TLC Pool is Awsome Having iHop a short walk away was great I was looking for a hotel convenient to Tampa Int Airport, Raymond James Stadium and Univ of Tampa. Description was a little misleading. It wasn't convenient at all.

This hotel is closer to Busch Gardens and the University of South Florida. The other is the Ramada Westshore which is much closer to the airport and Raymond James Stadium and apologize that it was misleading. Convenient to USF where my son had a late night music rehearsal and an 8:00 class the next morning. Commuting from New Port Richey was not ideal and stay here was. Great breakfast buffet - even had choice of first or second floor room. Although checking out today looking forward to our stay next week for similar circumstances.!

It is a very old property and the room furniture needs upgrades. Most of the wooden tables or anything with wood were rotten and need replacement. Plus found a German roach in my room and I had to keep my luggage in the car to ensure i don't carry any of them back. Apart from that, rest of it were good.

We have replaced furniture in half of the rooms but now waiting for the other half to arrive. I know that some of the old furniture is very outdated and worn. In the meantime, all rooms have been painted and replaced all bathroom tiles along with other projects being scheduled. I apologize for the insect and will find out what room you were in and spray the room and contact our Pest Control Company. Dear BrittanyAs General Manager I can assure you all reviews are taken very seriously especially the poor ratings and please accept my apologies and will look into it. I understand that you had a requested a certain room type but sometimes we have guests who are supposed to check out but decide to stay over which limits us in providing the room type. Some of those guests refuse to move to another room and it does make it more difficult and have no choice but to have put you in a room with 2 full size beds. It is very rare that this happens and again apologize. This is a much older hotel built in the 1980s and is currently going through renovations. We replaced half of the hotel with new furniture but waiting for the other half to arrive. Recently we put all new tiles in bathrooms and the vanity area. All rooms were recently painted plus more projects being scheduled. Our intention is to provide Excellent Customer Service along with High Quality Standards to all hotel guests. Rooms were outdated. Tables and fridge had moisture damage. Out toilet wouldn’t flush and when they came to check it the person said they knew it was giving trouble the day before. Why did they not fix it before allowing another customer come in that room?

Dear CathyThank you for your comments regarding your stay at the Ramada Hotel Temple Terrace. I am glad your stay was Satisfactory but hoped it would have been more enjoyable. The hotel is under major renovations and recently replaced half of the hotel with new furniture and now waiting for the other half to arrive. Recently we replaced all bathroom tiles and along the vanity area. We are working also on the toilet problems and having a plumber come out and check the pipes underground. Not to make any excuses but some guests have been flushing items in the toilets which should not have been done and causes the backup. I will also find out what room you were in and have maintenance concerns you mentioned. All rooms should be fully inspected for renting to any guest. Our intention is to provide Excellent Customer Service along with High Quality Standards to all hotel guests. The front desk person Archie was very accommodating. On our first day we reported to the woman at the front desk that our room phone did not work - she did nothing. We had the room for two nights. There was no hot water for our showers either A.M. or P.M. The person in the next room was smoking...something. This is a smokeless facility. After a shower I found the bottom of my feet very dirty from walking on the carpet - disgusting. The rugs havent been maintained for G_d knows how long. We were given a 1 night credit by Archie for our unpleasant experience and look forward to receiving notification that it has been processed.

Dear JacqualineThank you for yours comments regarding your recent stay. I understand why your stay was not more Enjoyable and I am going to find out who was at the Front Desk who did nothing about your phone issues. Also the hotel has had water issues during your stay as a result of pipes bursting in our boiler rooms and the plumbers were here for a few days replacing the pipe and installed new equipment. As for the carpet, you won't believe it but it is true, last month we had a professional carpet cleaning do all of our rooms and it looked great afterwards with no complaints. Being an outside entry hotel to rooms the carpet can get dirty much quicker but vacuuming is not always the correct answer. With 122 rooms there is alot of shampooing but I will find out what room you were in and have our maintenance person clean the carpet. I can certainly understand the inconvenience and as a hotel traveler myself I can relate.
