This hotel is very deceiving. Felt very unsafe and disappointed. Our shower was filthy and the water would pool up to your ankles. We had to shower with shoes on because it was slick and slimy. Seemed like the staff had never cleaned it before. Not to mention, other areas of the room was unclean and rusty. In order to have housekeeping, you had to book a day prior and we went to the front desk to get fresh towels and waited 2 hours for them to get delivered after reminding them. It seemed like there were hardly any staff members available and it seemed pretty empty. We tried to cancel our second night through Expedia and they were waiting to hear back from the hotel for confirmation. Of course, the hotel never got back to them and we were unable to get out of the second night. Front desk never greeted but the valet employees were friendly. There is also no self parking and a $35 fee for overnight parking. We will never come back here again and do not recommend. The town also seemed ghetto and there were police talking to a homeless man out front as soon as we pulled up. Would not recommend.

We only stayed at Hotel Haya for one night. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Hotel Haya had been remodeled very tastefully. The only issue we had was that we could hear people talking in the hallway at all times of the night.

Outdated rooms! Terrible beds! No coffee pot in room. Overpriced snacks and refrigerator items. Outrageous prices in the bar for wine and beer. Was there for a wedding. Dinner was terrible!!!! Had chicken and rice. No vegetable. Food was Luke warm! Only nice thing was the pool. Too few glasses in the room!!

The property is beautiful. The dining, coffee shop and bar options are very good. The rooms were not the cleanest, by far. While the housekeeping staff was very pleasant, they neglected to mop the bathrooms daily (not at all during our 4 night stay!), we had to ask for clean washclothes, bath gel, and body lotion every day. We even tipped $5-$10 per day in hopes of getting minimal housekeeping without having to ask. The front desk staff was bland. They rarely greeted us upon entry and ext each day (we spent 4 nights here!). The bell staff, restaurant and bar staff, and security were all very pleasant. Consistently so. Just an FYI...while we were waiting on the trolley one afternoon, we heard a staff member from another bar state repeatedly on a phone call that he was picking up chicken from Publix to take to the manager at Hotel Haya, then going for a swim at the Haya pool. We later saw him the hotel pool, then a few hours later working security at the bar down the street. Is the Hotel Haya pool for the guests, or open to the public? Its was very crowded. Also, is the entry fee a chicken lunch to the manager?

This hotel is the ideal stay in Ybor. Situated right off 7th Ave, this location offers easy access to all the area nightclubs, restaurants, stores, and other attractions. The hotel itself is good value for your money, with plenty of onsite amenities including a pool, restaurant, cafe, and bar. The food, drink, and coffee are competitive with other neighborhood establishments and their Cuban sandwich is one of the best I've ever had! The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Would return.

We love the Hotel. Excellent space. With a charming bar restaurant. Great Breakfast cafe. Room was comfy and modern. The only issue we had is being on the 7th ave side on a Saturday night with graduation parties. I would have chosen an interior facing room. I will book there again in the future!

We had a very bad experience that while our car was parked with the valet (there is no hotel parking) our car was badly vandalized and the valet manager said it would be taken care of with their insurance. After trying to get communications back and forth the ins company denied our claim. We were very disappointed as this is a very nice hotel. Would not recommend this hotel because of this,
