Correcte mais sans charme
Je n'ai pas eu une experience tres positive au depart car ma chambre avait une fuite dans la salle de bains et les solutions que l'hotels m'a proposee sont : une chambre plus petite, puis une chambre sans fenetre, puis une chambre avec colonne en plein milieu...Bref j'avais plus l'impression qu'ils voulaient me mettre dans les chambres les moins bien agencee alors que je restais 6 nuits !!! Il a fallu que je leur demande de changer d'etage pour trouver une chambre correcte. Donc mon conseil demander des chambres a partir du 3eme etage car vous aurez au moins une vraie fenetre. Les gros plus de cet hotel : les bouteilles d'eau et les viennoiseries gratuites, la localisation qui est super. A l'accueil ils sont aimables mais je suis decue qu'un des managers de nuit n'ait pas su trouver une solution autre que des chambres sans vraie fenetre des le depart et nous a laisse dormir une deuxieme nuit avec une fuite dans la chambre alors que l'hotel n'etait pas plein juillet n'est pas la pleine saison. Par contre Beatrice a ete super pro bravo a elle pour avoir accepte de nous changer d'etage. Le prix des chambres est interessant mais si vous voulez de l'intimite dans la salle de bains et une vraie fenetre alors allez ailleurs. Mais correcte pour une nuit ou deux.

Sans plus , et un peu cher quand même
Premier séjour en Australie. L’hotel est bien situé pour ceux qui utilisent la gare centrale des chemins de fer . Sinon , l’hotel se situe quand même à plus de 30 minutes de Circular bay et de l’opera ( on marche beaucoup ) à pied . Personnellement, je n’ai pas aimé la salle de bain séparé par des grandes vitres et une porte vitrée coulissante. Question intimité, ce n’est pas l’ideal . La literie était mauvaise . Le petit déjeuner «  express «  ... était succinct donc : croissant , pomme et brownie . Mais une machine à café Nespresso et eau minérale sont à discrétion ( ou à volonté ) . Pour l’accueil, le minimum est fait . Je ne suis pas certain d’y retourner . À chacun son expérience. La mienne n’a pas été concluante .

Un hôtel confortable et bien situé
Notre chambre au 5ème étage donne sur la façade de l'immeuble d'à coté si bien que nous ne sommes pas réveillés par la lumière du jour ni de vis à vis à déplorer. La mise à disposition d'une tablette a été bien utile pour choisir notre restaurant du soir.

Bien placé et confortable
La chambre Standard est petite make bien équipée, iPad à disposition dans la chambre. Pas de restaurant mais on peut avoir un room service en commandant dans les quelques restaurants du coin, proposés sur l'iPad de l'hôtel. Les chambres situées au rez-de-chaussée sont un peu bruyantes.

Hotel a proximité de Central Station
Nous avons apprécié notre sejour au 57 Hotel, près de Central Station, l'épicerie Coles a un coin de rue, 20 minutes à pied de Darling Harbour, beaucoup d'attraits tourisques a une distance qui se fait facilement à pied. Si nous retournons à Sydney, nous retournerons probablement a cet hotel. Chambre relativement petite, mais nous ne sommes presque jamais à l'hotel...

The hotel is close to everything, staffs are amazing, price is reasonable, kids love the breakfast there. Downside are: 1. few spots are not very clean, like the top of the fridge is bit sticky. It is the second time we live there, the two different rooms had the same noise from the air con. It was like someone drop a bouncing ball every minute. We were very tired so had no trouble with the noise, but not ideal for someone who can't bear it.

The staff are extremely helpful arranging a driver to the airport ($22 at the time of this comment) train $19…as well as any other questions you have. A 24/7 coffee bar and complimentary continental breakfast. The only negative! The only window in the open bathroom is covered with window film for privacy….so no “room with a view”!

I chose a single room as I was travelling by myself and it was so unique to me, and really quite perfect. I only was in the room at the end of my days after exploring Sydney. It was so conveniently located, midway between the airport and Circular Quay. Transportation was 2 blocks away, so handy. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Hello, Another flying visit to hotel 57. This hotel is quirky, And the rooms are not cluttered and the hotel is quiet.And its in a great neighbourhood, With great food options, light rail and station close by and handy to cbd. Check-in was pleasant and my friend loved the snack area and disco light in the lift. And it's value for money. I will stay there again.

Really cheap 1970's decor. Awkward bathroom and bedroom set up. I wouldn't want to turn from my bed and have a view of the toilet. 😅 Yes, I'm from the United States but I wouldn't say that my standards are high. I would just not say that the price I paid for this hotel was justified. Definitely not a 4 star property. I don't know why it is listed as one so that is incredibly misleading. I'm disappointed with the properties that are being rated well on Expedia. Twice during my month long trip, I was heavily disappointed with what I've found. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel bad that I have to write this review. I think the Australian people are very nice. However, people should know. This is not a 4 star property. I think the other reviews are really misleading when they speak highly of it. I'm surprised that I was charged a room service fee. With all my experience in any type of hotel, I was never charged a room service fee. Should I be charged because I didn't want food rotting in the room for 2 days?

We've taken note of your candid critique regarding our "cheap 1970's decor." We understand that artistic tastes can differ, and our interior design choices may not resonate with everyone.I must admit, I'm a bit puzzled about the service fee you mentioned in your review. The only additional charge you paid was the early check-in fee of 40. Our standard check-in time is 2 PM, just like most hotels around the globe. Very close to Central Railway, so perfect for travellers arriving into Sydney CBD as it is a very short walk to hotel. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The room rate included all day coffee/tea in the lobby and a basic breakfast (bakery items and some fruit). Nice touches too re snack bars and Easter eggs. Ideal inclusions for holiday travellers or business travellers. Our room was the basic option .. no exterior windows (only frosted windows with no outlook). The decor is outdated and I think they can ditch the disco theme and upgrade to a minimal business style decor. The room was supposed to have a Queen size bed .... but it seemed a different length to the standard (as a shorty I was fine, but my husband is tall and the bed was too short). Amenities great though in the room with all usuals - safe, ironing board/iron, bathroom goodies etc. WiFi poor in the room, but lobby was fine. Great location regarding transport and restaurants/pubs. Would I recommend. Yes, I think I would given it is Sydney and so central ... and overall the value for money was there for our two nights.

The concierge lass was very welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. The only downfall of this hotel was there is absolutely no blinds or curtains for the bathrooms, they say you can’t see in, due to the tinted window. It did make our stay a bit uncomfortable, but we were not aware of this prior to attending and were not able to change our hotel. Otherwise fantastic stay!

Please be advised that our designers have incorporated glass bathroom walls to allow as much light to flow through as possible, coupled with blackout bathroom curtains and frosted tinted glass to ensure privacy. As per Expedia website which you had booked through the photos to the rooms show no curtains on the internal bathroom only on the dividing glass walls between the room and the bathroom. I would certainly return. Worth noting - water pressure struggled. - room was quite dark (great for sleeping, not so great if you like natural light) - really helpful and pleasant staff.
