« We needed a dog-friendly home for a weekend away in the area to attend a party. Cottonwood Cottage is very sweet, with fantastic retro styling and a lovely garden. I was a bit taken aback on check in as it was not evident when booking that the cottage is actually a separate dwelling inside the bounds of the owner’s house. « Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper. »

« Of all the places I stayed in NZ and Australia this was my favourite and I just wish we could have stayed longer. It is top of my list of places to come back and stay again. I absolutely loved it. The grounds are spectacular. The serenity was very welcome after some busy days. Loved the lake at sunset and sunrise. Great to be close to Noosa and Coolum but away from the hustle and whole “scene” but close enough to go in for beach time, dinner or hiking. This place was perfection!! »

« Beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything you need plus more.. easy process to check in and communicate with owner. Lovely to have aftwrnoinbdrinks and morning coffee with the wildlife about. Super close to Noosa to pop into for day visits, markets and dinner as well. »

« Everything was disappointing. Rooms look and feel like a depressing 80 year old couple's appartment in the 1970s. Walls and windows are paperthin in this very cheap building, so expect waking up with the birds from the backstreet alley in the morning. Nothing was on par with a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. This classification should absolutely reevaluated since it's a shame for real 4-stars to be compared to such a cheap and ugly place. »
