We are sorry that your arrival was delayed, our staff are sometimes called away from the desk to assist other guests or complete routine tasks as the day comes to an end, however they should be accessible by phone as our site is staffed all day. Very run down. Only positive is location. Same price as the grant and not even close to as nice. Very dirty room had to move due to conditions. Staff isn’t helpful seem very new

Our housekeeping supervisor did let me know at arrival that they assisted you with a room move due to issues with the initial assigned room, but my team did not let me know you were unhappy with the alternate room or any further issues with your stay.

The property is very dated and not well kept. I was there for 3 nights and not sure the stairwell had been vacuumed any of the time - it was pretty bad. However it’s the best location on the mountain, and a good price!

Very close to all the chair lifts, Rental, and restaurants. Too bad there is no AC in room, and only 2 Small windows open for crash air. Gets very hot in the afternoon

Thank you for your review. Like most Sun Peaks Hotels our Lodge only features in room heating. We do add upright fans to assist with air flow, but this year has been a bit unseasonal with warmer than expected Spring Days making it a bit harder to balance the building temperatures.

What a wonderful spot for a ski vacation in an equally wonderful resort. Great room, great shops and great restaurants. Oh, and the best groomed runs in the Rockies.

The Sundance was in the best location. So easy to get everywhere we wanted. Staff was very friendly. There was a miscommunication when we were checking in and Babo was very helpful and got everything fixed in a quick efficient manner. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location close to the ski hill and village of Sun Peaks, only few minutes of a walk. The Sundance Lodge itself is showing its age all around. Carpets in rooms and hallways and everywhere needs a replacement and appears dirty. No daily services to remove garbage or recyclables. Nothing in hotel or service stands out, only the location

The room next to ours left their dogs alone in the room from 6 am through the entire day so all we heard was barking all night and all morning. It woke us up our entire stay and made it not relaxing at all. When we complained to the front desk after spending alot of money at this hotel all they had to say was we’re very sorry about that, and did nothing. Would not recommend!

Hot tub didn’t have very good jets, however it was clean, no foam, no chemical smell.Super sized and very comfortable with towels available every day. Thanks!!!

Great place to stay
Our stay was super. The location is the best ski-in/ski-out on the hill. The room was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was disappointed that I was charged $15/night to park outside in the Resort's Day parking. This was new from our last stay 2 years ago when it was free. The Sun Peaks Resort has gone for this money grab that the hotel can't help but pass on to its guests. My hope is that the hotel will tell the Resort that this parking charge detracting from the Resort's greatness.

Thank you for your stay review. We have a great location and our aim is to make sure you have the best stay possible in Sun Peaks. We are delighted that you found the kitchen to be well equipped for your needs.Parking fees are certainly an issue we hear about, however they have now been in place year round in Sun Peaks Village since the summer of 2022. Hopefully the amazing Village, top to bottom snow and best location made your vacation overall an amazing experience.

It is very convenient place to ski in / out. One of chair lift is just opposite to the back door. The underground parking is also very handy but a bit pricey.

The room was comfortable and the kitchenette was quite good. I also really liked the easily accessible ski storage and the unpretentious vibes. The only small issue was that the fireplace did not work consistently and there were no instructions for use if there is a trick to it. Overall, would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Sun Peaks.

We will have our maintenance team investigate the fireplace, the timer should work smoothly to activate the gas fireplace, no tricks required. We want our guests to have the best and easiest Sun Peaks Vacation possible - we have a great location, its easy to step into your room an unwind from the slopes, you can prepare a meal in your room and of course the slopeside hot tub is a great place to relax those tired muscles before the next days adventures!

Great slope side location. Never been so close! Appreciated the hot tub. Decor was dated but everything was there we needed. Kettle didn’t work but that was immediately replaced when we reported it.
